Bit warmer here today, although the wind and rain have returned too!  DH and I have just returned from a short cruise to the Xmas Markets.  We were supposed to do this trip in 2020, so it was great to finally go.  It was bitterly cold but so lovely especially Honfleur in France which was idyllic. We managed to keep warm with hot chocolates and plenty of mulled wine!  We are now home and caring for DD's two little dogs as DD and her baby have been quite poorly while we've been away.  There seems to be so much illness about at the moment, so sending hugs to anyone who is feeling poorly.

Another fiver in the pot today, wishing everyone a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas as we have a houseful arriving this week to stay for Christmas and I don't think I'll have time to post <3

Hi SPCers! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend and will have a good run up to Christmas with this week!! Have a good Wednesday folks, and keep as safe as possible. For all those who are feeling low or ill in any way, I really hope you're soon very much better. Best wishesfrom us all. 3

Excellent potting Ant, and very well done with the electronic potting!! Exactly what it that?
It's good to hear when folk have potted money they've saved via a cheaper offer or similar, so jolly good for you!
At last we're a good bit warmer after that bitter cold! 🥶

A was a bit warmer in Somerset yesterday too, Siju, but oh my word didn't it rain, it absolutely chucked it down. 💦 😰 💨 Still, it's most definitely done the reservoirs a lot of good after that terribly hot summer! 🥵 In some ways it's hard to think about all that heat.
Ooh I bet the cruise to the Christmas markets was a real joy and at least you were able to keep warm with the hot chocolate and mulled wine!

Ooh your poor DD and baby too! I do hope they're both soon forget a great deal better. You're right about there being a lot of illness about, what a time of year too!
Good for you in potting another £5er!!

A very Merry Christmas to you all and a very Happy New Year! 🎅🎄☃️

Hi nu1isit, I think you had forgotten about Declaration Day which was on the 27th of October!! I had already taken you off the member list, but your new No is 020 please swap it from your old No. I think you'd best keep potting until 26th October 2023, but NO LATER please.

Excellent potting indeed, LMD!! Very well done.

    A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, folks,

A SAFE HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
     🎅🎄☃️

  • Thanks so much Sue and Ant, your good wishes mean a lot, I'm usually a resilient person but haven't been just recently! I will definitely ring E.On and ask for this  voucher to be sent again if necessary. I topped up with both
gas & electric again today so I'm warm and toasty at the moment 😊  H x
