NST NIFTY NOVEMBER

Lots of sorting done, lots still to do. Many boxes and bags have been gathered and are filling up gradually. Decided against going to film club in the end - I rented it and watched it on my laptop. I had drinks, some popcorn DS3 gave me a couple of weeks ago and a slightly squashed mars bar I found between the mattress and headboard when I was tidying. Filled bags of rubbish and recycling have all gone to relevant bins, knocked a little bit of wall down (why should DS3 have all the fun) and set another load of clothes to wash whilst I cooked tea - cauliflower grills and pumpkin falafels, both of which were nicer than expected. Found several parcels had been delivered and made a start on opening them. Mainly non-alcoholic wine and drain cleaner.
Grateful for peace and quiet, getting things done, watching my film without having to go out in the cold and rain (or pay for snacks).6 -
Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for getting my first ever picture especially drawn for me by a child from the nursery, for dc having a very helpful meeting with the senco (now gets extra time in tests, can go and do work in senco office at lunchtime), for not having to go out tonight, for my warm jamas.Oh 'eck grandmanerd, I'd better get cracking with writing up December!!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!7

Well done @DrCarrie, you're nearly there! 🎉
Happy birthday to your other half @lcc86.
Sorry been AWOL a few days. Been so tired this week. Knew I would be with it being my first week back at work. Been doing yoga & sit ups every morning still, & back sewing in the evenings. Getting through the pile now 😊
Was pleased to have a day yesterday with no children or teachers (strike), so all of us support staff got to have a meeting & feedback on our pupils. Went shopping after work tonight, then spent the evening knitting. It's on a circular needle with lots of counting stitches to change the colour, etc. Limited myself to one choc 🍊 segment per row & did 5 rows. Made up for it with my pint of (weak) sloe gin & lemonade 😂
Grateful for a lighter morning to drive to work, excellent book I'm reading (only @60 pages left), seeing mum, friend taking some of my handicrafts to go on her stall at a craft weekend this weekend & next, big belly laughs with colleagues Wednesday lunchtime, special friends, & it being fri-yay!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Evening turtles! A busy day here. Cleaned the house and DH emptied out loft of cardboard boxes we’ve been hoarding! He did 4 tip runs (including 2 chest of drawers) - why we kept them in the first place who knows!!
I’ve been offered extra hours in work. Even if I agree to just 4 hrs, I should bring home £200 more a month which I could really do with to bring my DFD forward and just help with the monthly bills… I probably do those extra hours now for free!
I’ve switched my sim deal from £17 per month to £12 with extra 8gb of data. It was a Black Friday deal very pleased with that.
Will be having alcohol tonight. Watching a footy match and might watch a film later.
Our bedrooms are all back to normal. Conservatory has become a dumping ground so that needs sorting and as much decluttering as possible.
NSD today think that’s 12/15.

Sorry I've been absent, I had a car accident a week ago, wrote my car off and had concussion. Not nice at all and i worry what harm this does to my brain for the future. Other driver accepted liability but luckily neither of us seriously hurt or killed.
Many hours spent on phone and email about insurance and courtesy car when I was in no fit state to do anything. Should have slept instead.
Finally sorted, courtesy car arrived and my poor Fiat 500 'Snowy' taken away by the salvage people. Felt very tearful about losing him after 12 years but think this was also the shock coming out from the crash. I've found a new car and fetch it on Tuesday. What a week.
Made me realise I need to sort my clutter out so that no one has to do it if i pop my clogs. Even I dont know where to start!
Mum took me to my old hometown today for a look round the shops. Christmas market was on - lots of lovely things and the place was heaving. Just what the town needs. Saw some real reindeer - aren't they tiny?! So cute. I think I expected something moose sized!
Treated myself to 2 CS books, a CS DVD and a beautiful tiny handmade glass toadstool off a craft stall.
Came home and we walked down to my aunt and uncle's to see them and drop his birthday present off. He starts radiotherapy on Monday so hope that all goes well.
Were supposed to go to cinema this evening but would have been difficult car-wise as mum doesn't like night driving. I made an excuse so she didn't feel bad and we stayed at home and watched tv instead.
Enjoyed catching up with all your news! X

Today I am grateful for waking naturally, for a morning walk, for a successful fair at dc's school, for Magnum recordings, for DH making tea, for catching up with a friend.
