Hi Just stopping by to say hi - am grateful for utube - found a 2 hour radio interview with a poet I have discovered, for a nice walk and shop and walk w ds1. And I do adore the NHS (a lot of the time - or when one finally come across the right person for the right problem(ds1 stuff)). I am grateful for a lot of time relaxing, reading and listening to more radio and interviews. And I drew a yellow couch as I would like one, and apparently that is what one does :-) well I kind of have one now!

I'm annoyed with myself this evening, was sat on the sofa eating my dinner and a notification popped up on my phone saying I was meant to be at a sound bath that I'd booked. No chance of getting there so I've wasted the money now... wouldn't be so bad but I also turned down a shift at my part time job because I wanted to go to this instead so I've doubly messed up! Feel like I've spent constantly since I came back from holiday last week. Some of that is Christmas stuff and budgeted for but I feel like I have to go to the corner shop every day as I've run out of something or other, and it's annoying me as it's very unlike me. Not much I can do about any of it now, I think having a shopping delivery right before a holiday wasn't the smartest idea in hindsight.
Anyway, back to today. Went to see my share pony and did some in hand work with him, ended up spending well over an hour on it and really enjoyed it.
Came home, hoovered, had lunch and a nice coffee, much needed. Cleaned my aquarium, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floors and then did my nails. Had a bath and have put some tan on as feeling a tad pale!
All in all a productive day, even though I'm still annoyed at myself at missing the sound bath. Next time I'll have to set the alert much earlier!
Next week I really need to be more mindful of my spends. With the exception of meeting a friend tomorrow and having the shopping delivered on Tuesday I don't want to spend on anything else.9 -

Grateful for a sunny, mild day, a well-insulated house, for OH (despite having his vax jags) making a batch of soup, pasta sauce, and our lunch, for a warm bath, for time to myself, and for dark chocolate.

Icc86 please stop beating yourself up. I have spent money today - when I pulled the sheets off the bed for washing part of the mattress cover was exposed, so I decided to go and buy the stain remover I was checking about a fortnight ago and look at any things for diy projects or quick fixes whilst I was there. Forgot to look for the cold water washing up liquid even though I'd put it on the list and already have 3 more items to research (they keep popping into my head and sliding out again, so jotting them down).
I have moved more bricks and added 4 bags and sacks of smaller branches and accumulated leaf litter (covered the path when it was windy and I'd only just got it clear). Since Friday I've been wondering whether it's worth holding onto the vouchers from Morries - the offer's not very generous and it's in store so I'd be lugging it home myself. Just found out I have a Morries offer through the prime membership, £15 off each of the first 3 orders over £50 so put one in for delivery tomorrow (stocked up on washing tabs, stock cubes and 'lighter' cheeses as they already had discounted prices).
Grateful for genuine offers, finding some of the things I wanted for jobs I can do myself and deciding not to purchase something I wasn't sure about (+ lots of clothes not bought)

NSD#5 - finally managed another one 🥰🎉
Yoga & sit ups done. Walked a different 2 mile route with DH today, the sun was shining & the birds were singing. Boy was there a lot of water gathered in the fields after the downpour on Friday!
Decided to have a restorative day today. Finished the first story in my book whilst having dinner, then shut myself away in the bedroom & wrapped all the presents piled around me (quite a few are new looking 2nd hand items or homemade). Lots of boxes & bags less now 😃 Managed to pack it all into 2 storage boxes, so took them out to the shed until needed. Made sure there was nothing edible in them, just in case something is in there fancying a nibble! Let chocolate melt on my tongue & had R2 morning show playing, then watched 2 episodes of a series whilst wrapping. Feel a lot less overwhelmed now I can move around the house more easily Washed the dishes after tea, sorted letters for posting, now just waiting for my turn to go in the bath.
Grateful for a lovely walk, wrapping fun, feeling less stressedUse it up, wear it out

I have been clearing out the spare room as I think a relative is staying at the weekend.
Other than that I have been doing things for the foodbank to get ready for a busy week ahead.
I need a new lamp for the spare room.
