You don't need to do anything with that.

It is addressing a failing of the Claimant...

Hi, after receiving the above letter from CCBC I have not heard from them or the claimant since and there are no updates on MCOL. I’m a bit concerned, Should I contact CCBC for updates? I would like any advice please. Many Thanks

Send the CCBC an email suggesting that as the DQ appears not to have been filed, the Claimant is in breach of the court order dated 03/01 and ask that the claim is struck out.

Expect the CCBC to hurriedly send the C a reminder with a 7-day response time, rarely such leeway is afforded to the D.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Thanks Umkomaas, is it normal for CCBC to take this long ?  my thinking was that the 7 days has already expired and as per the court order, the claim should have been struck out by now if the claimant has not responded. My concern is the lack of update on MCOL. I think I have done everything in order, maybe I’m worrying for nothing I just want to make sure I haven’t overlooked anything. if it’s the claimant not complying should I just wait or should I still contact CCBC as you suggested?
     Thanks

It does you no harm to point out to the CCBC anything that the Claimant has failed to do.

    Do exactly what @Umkomaas suggested...

    Hi all,
I sent CCBC email as suggested above but never actually got a response. After waiting a couple of weeks i called them, was told the court is working on back logs and looking at the dates, it appears the claimant failed to return DQ on time therefore very likely claim will be struck out. A few days later I checked status on MCOL it stated “claim issued against you was struck out 03/03/2023”.
     Today  I received letter from the court which reads;
This claim has been transferred to the below county court hearing centre for allocation. On receipt, the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of judges directions will be sent to you in a notice of allocation.”
On MCOL the status is now

    - DQ sent to you on 21/11/2022

    - You filed a DQ on 09/12/2022

    - General sanctions order was made on 03/01/2023                                                 (7 days for claimant to respond or claim will automatically be struck out).

-The claim issued against you was struck out on 03/03/2023

    - The claim issued against you was reinstated on 09/03/2023

    - DQ filed by claimant on 09/03/2023           Over 2 months after General sanctions order !

    - Your claim was transferred to xxxxxxx on 09/03/2023

I don’t know what to make of this. Please help with any advise as I’m confused.

It means they showed they had returned the DQ and the CCBC got it wrong.

Thanks Coupon-mad, is there anything you would advise I should do while waiting for the court date.

    Thanks
