@HomingPigeon you could drop them a message saying 'I've posted per plan but did notice the size vs amount'. It could well be a training issue or just a simple error on their side. I don't know how long staff have been trained with them but they won't be the same staff who prep packs for other countries.I can't imagine it would be in Spectos' interest to try and catch panelists out - after all, it's RM performance they're paid to measure. And if they wanted us checking postal values, there would be a question on it surely, otherwise there's really no data to measure.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

HomingPigeon said:Thanks both. I was also thinking about it from another angle - could Spectos be deliberately testing us as senders, to see if we pick up and report errors, or just go along with it, even when it’s incorrect?
Unlike Kantar, Spectos prepare the items so know what they have done and what data they expect the receiver to enter.
It's not part of the survey to check that the sending items are correct - apart from to confirm that each bundle received has the correct number of test items in it.

Thanks, just feels strange to post an item which is clearly a large letter, with the wrong postage on it.

HomingPigeon said:I've received a jiffy bag to post (think it is a small book). It has 5 x 1st class stamps on it, which = £4.75 postage. I'm sure it has been priced as a 1st class small parcel.
It easily fits through the large letter slot on the sizing guide, and the jiffy bag has 'large letter size' printed on it.
Instructions on the posting plan say that I can "Simply post the test item into a regular postbox or drop it off to your preferred post office" - so it sounds like Spectos know it's a large letter.
If I handed it to the PO counter, I think the clerk would mention that I've overpaid on the postage as it's clearly too thin for a parcel (they're a friendly, helpful lot at my local PO).
Would you just pop it into a postbox, or email Spectos about it? Am I overthinking it?
TIA for any replies. x3 -
No, it weighed around 200g, large letter weight limit is 750g.0

I received one of those parcels in a grey plastic bag, it contained a book - had to log it as Other as there wasnt a suitable option for it on the list, I then put all the details into the text box and have kept the insert with the details written on it in case I get a query. It had one of those printed postage labels on it, like those on the cubes from Kantar, they don't state the postage so I just put the weight of the parcel into the text box.

Has anyone had any stamps for March. They said in one of their news letters that starting from February they would be sent in the first posting pack of the month. I have had a pack for every week in March but don’t remember any stamps being included0
-
I too thought I'd read that the stamps would be sent in the first posting pack of the month, but I've not received any stamps yet and I received my 3rd posting pack today.
I thought I must've misread it.1 -
The newsletter dated 01/03 stated "So starting from the first week of February.... stamps will be sent out". Doesn't make much sense does it? Maybe they meant April.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein1
