    I've too got a mailbag ready to post tomorrow, although I'm going to use a Parcel postbox so I've opened the bag.

    The pre-printed "postage on account" labels on the books both say Small Parcel and the weight: one of mine is 700g and the other is 1.022kg.

    Definitely more convincing that Kantar's cubes!

    Took my mailbag to the PO this morning.  I was first in so it went over the counter at 0859 (by my watch) and I logged it standing outside at 0901.   I entered 0900 and the app asked if I was sure saying something like "we measure to the exact minute"; I guess they want to avoid people entering a guess of the nearest hour.  Now waiting for an incoming book!

    The points seem to be coming in faster now; I'd reached 3500 so I converted 2500 to a £25 M&S voucher.  Fairly straightforward.
    I need to think of something new here...
  • Spectos have added a new feature to the app, which tells you how many RFIDs they think you have to send back. As ever, there seems to be a problem with the maths as it said I had 10 to send back, I then confirmed that I sent back 8 yesterday and now it says I have 4 to send back (and I don’t have any more).

    I wasn't seeing that - so I updated to v1.5.  which tells me that they are expecting 3 from me.  Since I just chuck them back in the postbox the day I get them (or next day) I have no idea how many might still be on the way to Birmingham.  If you look at Reward History it shows you when the 10pts went on for returned transponders and the item they came with - but I can't be bothered to match up with the paper trail.

    How do you confirm it went back?  You just confirm the item receipt don't you?

    You can click on the message which tells you how many they are expecting back and it then allows you to enter the number returned. It didn’t like that I’d entered a number less than 10 (but couldn’t do anything about that as I only had 8 to return).

    I normally send them back pretty quickly but I was away last week and quite a collection built up during that time - I guess I probably didn’t notify them early enough that I wasn’t going to be around.

    Make sure you update manually to v1.5 before you use the app again. Email incoming about this.

    With the new app update I have a note saying there are 3 transponders that I'm due to return - I have none on hand (everything was returned) but I have no idea if they mean the ones already en-route or ones I'm due to receive. I have no messages saying items are due to be received.

    Any thoughts?

    It's there to record the sending back of RFIDs so must be the ones you have received? I will leave it and see what happens.

    Had the email, but the instructions for ios don't work well. You need to search in the app store for the app and then it will show that it needs updating. It didn't appear in my updating list.

    I have the same problem. It tells me I have six to send back but five of those (One was posted today) have all been received by them. I tried to enter one but the app wouldn't let me.

    I emailed them this morning and they said that there are some glitches to the new update so to ignore those notifications for now.

    That doesn't help with the one that I do need to report though.
