I struggle with entering a "not known" when I'm looking at a stamp and do know the value. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Its stupid - the prices are those for stamps, not for mailmarks which are always cheaper. I've been entering items as their stamp postage value rather than other, they haven't said anything. I haven't had any mailmark items anyway. This part of the data entry needs to be sorted out before the survey goes live at the end of March as its just confusing at the moment

I emailed Spectos to clarify how to record an item with a 1st Class stamp on it and they replied that they don't want to know about stamped mail - they only want to know if there's an amount PRINTED on the envelope.
Here's a quote from their email:
///Please always select the 'I don't know/No amount shown' if the postage cost is not printed on the envelope. If the amount is printed then please select the right amount from the dropdown list or type in the right amount by selecting 'Other amount shown'.///
As mentioned on this thread, they only want to know about franked/account mail - they already know about stamped mail - they prepare the envelopes.
I'd been recording the stamped mail wrong for quite a while.

A single option of "Stamped" would be more sensible.I need to think of something new here...2 -
On a separate note - I have my first outgoing bundle of cubes today. It arrived already in the mailbag, with that and the posting plan and manifest squidged into a box. The instructions are to take it to a PO as is OR open the bag and put in a parcel postbox. I don't have a parcel postbox nearby so I'm off to the PO.
Where I know they expect the manifest to be tucked through the zip tie. So I went to cut off the tie and replace it with a spare and noticed the red PPI tag is not filled in. Kantar asked us to fill it in but the Spectos instructions don't mention it. I think I might drop Spectos an e-mail just to be sure.I need to think of something new here...2 -
Thanks for that, NBLondon. I'm expecting my first cube/s soon, any help is appreciated.0

I was going to ask the same question as NBLondonI have never posted a package in mailbag either and have no idea what to do! there may be a parcel box local, so do I then open the bag and take the items out? is it easier to take it to post office??0
