I received my first test letter today. However there was a large stamp on the letter and knowing they cost £1.45 that is the amount I entered. Reading through this thread should I have selected I don't know!0

They ask what is 'printed' which only occurs with 'on account' mail.CRISPIANNE3 said:I received my first test letter today. OOps! I've made the same error. Just rechecked the Manual for receiving and it says 'Enter the Amount of Postage for each item (only for Meter Franked Test Items). Had better make a note of that for the future.CRISPIANNE3 said:I received my first test letter today. Lesson learnt. Hopefully they will not take away my 35 points.0

Perhaps having a 'Stamped Item' option rather than, or in addition to 'I don't know' would be better. Then that data can just be dicounted if it's not needed.HonestJohn said:Going by posts here this is a common error.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

It's even more confusing as Spectos list the normal stamp values (like 95p for standard 1st class) but companies who send items sent via mailsort benefit from a discount so items show 78p instead..HonestJohn said:

The whole process is a mess. Needs clarifying and maybe simplifying depending on what info they are trying to retrieve.gt94sss2 said:
