Yes. As I understand it they are only looking for a numerical value. Accounts do get cheaper rates.HomingPigeon said:Thank you for your help, HJ. The information sheet has the following printed at the top left-hand corner:

I wonder if this is an account number - the envelope size is C5 and the postage 1st class? Would you still record it as "I don't know/not indicated"? I don't know much about it but I think that if you have an account you get postage cheaper than if you use stamps for posting.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. Yes. Agreed. 35 points will not compensate for the cost of petrol and the grief you get doing this.Money_Grabber13579 said:
Nothing though about any reimbursement for having to travel to the post office or parcel postbox though…it would need to be better than the standard 35 points!HonestJohn said:Just received the latest newsletter. I’ve been marking anything that comes as first class as 95p, not saying that is right just what I’ve been doing.HomingPigeon said:Thank you for your help, HJ. The information sheet has the following printed at the top left-hand corner:

Maybe the free books are to compensate for the costs and grief of posting parcels?HonestJohn said:

At least they'll feel like real parcels!2

I don't think so. I thought such items were Down Stream Access (DSA) mail which have different rules on when they have to be delivered vs normal letters.HomingPigeon said:Thank you for your help, HJ. The information sheet has the following printed at the top left-hand corner:

Spectos could do with issuing more guidance over such items, stamps with no values listed and mailmark items where the values listed don't match the discounted rates paid.
I'm just glad there is a standard 35 points - a big improvement over Kantar in this respect.Money_Grabber13579 said:

35 points equals 3.5p, when you have saved up for the 25,000 necessary to cash out. That isn’t go to pay for any journey other than on foot.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 35 points is 35p - each point is worth 1p. Its 2500 to cash out, not 25,000.silvercar said:35 points equals 3.5p, when you have saved up for the 25,000 necessary to cash out. That isn’t go to pay for any journey other than on foot.

I'm guessing the book will take the place of the polystyrene slab that Kantar use so a small, light paperback? The newsletter says keep it, give it away, charity shop it or send it back to them.silvercar said:

Wonder how many different titles they will have? Could you collect a set? Or will it be "It's the life of Heinrich von Stephan again" and my local charity shop already has 3 copies...
I need to think of something new here...0
