    Have just read the email.
    I think you can still enter the pack ID manually. You just have to be at the PO Box when you enter all the details.
    Nice to see a draw and priority panel selection as rewards.

    Just received another email from Spectos urging scanning the QR code.  I cannot get  my phone to recognise the QR code either when sending or receiving mail. I have enlisted help from others in the family without success.  The phone recognises other QR code from different companies,  but not from  Spectos, so I know it's not the phone.

    Does anyone else have this problem?
    I have never been able to scan their QR codes and have always had to enter the information manually.

    I haven't received that newsletter but I'm wondering if that may be the answer as to why I have been on the panel since October 22 and have never been rested and am constantly doing the surveys, especially the UA ones which I get back to back (never had a problem receiving the points either)

    I'm fortunate in that as I work late shifts, I always know the delivery times of test items, I'm able to post transponders the same day on my way to work and I've always used GPS and reported bundles at the post box/post office anyway.

    I've always thought that perhaps they forgot to rest me but I'm wondering now if it's because they consider me a "good" panelist 🤣

    I can understand why they want it done that way and it seems they are going to make it a requirement before long.

    I’ve just had a query about an item I received which was supposedly posted on the same day as I received it. However, the postmark applied to the stamp shows it as having commenced its journey at least 4 days earlier so the details entered by the sender were just wrong.  If the posting was recorded at the post box when the posting had been made, I’d be surprised if the same error would have occurred.

    If they can’t rely on the data which is being entered, there is little point in them continuing with the survey (as the data would be meaningless) so if this is how they increase the quality of the data, then I think it has to be a good thing (for anyone who record in this way, not so much for those that can’t).

     I always report posting stuff when I get home because I don't want to have to pay to use data to report it at the postbox. It would cost me more than I would make from it. Just realised I have the "mobile verification" newsletter but I haven't read it yet.

    For mobile verification you complete the posting details when you post the item. So unless there is some Wi-Fi you can latch onto the posting site, you will have to choose a different place to post. You are allowed to use any posting location within your post code zone (first half of your postcode). Maybe there is a post box outside a supermarket/ library etc that offers Wi-Fi?

    I use the app when I post - except my main post box is in an area which can be sketchy for data connection.  About 10% of the time the app will not load for me, then I complete immediately when I get home ten minutes later.  Nothing I can do about this, almost all are properly logged - no technology is 100% perfect.

    I do it from home as the post box is just outside and when posting parcels the post office is 50 yards away.

    There seems to be quite a few of us that have been waiting awhile.  I was rested mid July, got an email mid January to say I was being moved onto ready stage, but I did receive an email from Spectos yesterday letting me know I hadn’t been forgotten, and they would contact me as soon as a space becomes available.
    Finally, back on the live panel. Just got an email welcoming me back. I’ve been resting for nearly 1 year!
