I’ve done the same before too, although I had no one else to blame! Back in Kantar days, it was just a matter of typing in the details of who it should have gone to, so expecting Spectos to be similar, I redelivered the letter and then found that they were demanding a picture. Back then, it wouldn’t submit without a picture so I couldn’t report it.NBLondon said:I'm on CD for the first time in ages. And for the first time ever - I got a mis-delivered item on a day I could record it. Except that Spectos want a photo of it (quite logically) and my wife helpfully re-delivered the item (it was only across the road) before I saw it. So I've logged it with no photo and now waiting for the query.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
I took a picture of a piece of paper on which I’d written, “I couldn’t take a picture because I’ve already delivered the item to the correct address”Money_Grabber13579 said:

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
If I can't post a test item on the designated day and I can't post it on the same day of the following week, can I just post it the next day? Hope that makes sense.0

I think the day is important so post 2 weeks after the date required. That's what we did when the post strikes were on the Christmas before last.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein1

I actually submitted a blank photo to make it go through. It does make sense if they are going to investigate - or at least collect data on types of mis-delivery e.g right postcode, wrong house or similar postcode/streetnamesilvercar said:

Thanks HJ. Did they send you a reminder(s) that it was overdue? Just wondering if I should message them and tell them what I intend to do. It's my first posting after several months' rest and I really wish I could post it on the designated day.

I seem to remember from recent posts that if you miss a day it automatically rescedules but maybe others will confirm.HomingPigeon said:Thanks HJ. Did they send you a reminder(s) that it was overdue? Yes they remind you for about a day and then automatically reschedule it.3
