I am yet again arguing about not being paid for an unaddressed mail survey.

Nope, I doublechecked every day this time to make sure. They were all on there.

Do Spectos now object to items being posted the night before?

With most last collection times now being 9am and 7am on Saturday, it’s a very small posting window if they now want them posted same day.
Just post items on the day requested and log the correct time.

Pay no attention to the last posting time listed on the post box.
But their instructions very clearly state (in bold text) that it has to be posted before the last collection time so that doesn’t seem right either.

    That is the ideal, yes.
But it is more important that you log the correct time even if it's late rather than pretending you sent it before last collection  - not saying that you would but , that is something they and Kantar have always said. So the night before for a 7 am post box as long as it's well past the time that they would collect is what I sometimes do. 10pm when I'm walking the dog works for me.
Yep, I always have posted around 9-10pm the evening before and they never seemed to have an issue with it (and I think I remember them saying that was fine before). It’s just very annoying to have to then write an explanation as to why it hasn’t been posted on the correct day, when the answer seems obvious.

I post the night before for a Saturday collection, I put early Sat am as posting.

I asked Spectos and this is what they have told me to do I.e say I’ve posted it shortly after midnight even though I’ve posted it before midnight. In my mind, that just introduces unreliability into the data but if that’s what they want me to do, then that’s what I’ll do… 🤷‍♂️

They also prefer you to log the location when standing near it, do they expect you to stand by the post box till after midnight?

I can pick up the location from my house with Spectos, with Kantar I had to be half way up the road. I cant see what difference it makes if I put it in the box at 12.05am or 6.55am it still gets collected in the 7am pick up

It’s because the collection doesn’t take place at 7am, it will take place at any time from 7am onwards. So a box with a 7am collection time could be collected at 3pm and in that case, making up the posting time could have a real impact. Although, if the postmen are still out collecting at 12.05am, there’s something wrong (so can’t imagine it makes any difference that late at night)

  • People having troubles with UA - I screenshot my completed data entry each week now in case it's needed as evidence.  Shouldn't be like this - and the hassle is clearly not worth the paltry £3 reward - but it's a way of ensuring I get it.

What do we think the chances are of my time on the active posting panel coming to an end at the 6 month mark?  I contacted Spectos this week to ask when my end date will be - I started mid Sep so I am anticipating it will start coming to an end in the next few weeks.  Imagine my surprise that, despite the requirement to log holidays weeks in advance because 'our posting schedules are planned in advance' etc etc, the response I got was that essentially they didn't know and it might be in March.  They seem a bit disorganised don't they?!
  • Hurray! Pleased to say, UA completed yesterday & 300pts have just been added.
    No chasing up required 🙂
  • I’ve not received any stamps since October last year am I missing something
