Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

I, like others, think they should increase the reward for posting parcels/sacks, as it is more effort than posting letters.
Perhaps if some of us emailed them with this suggestion, they would consider it.2 -
Don’t get me wrong I agree 35p is lousy compensation for getting to a PO and queuing up there to send a sack.HomingPigeon said:I, like others, think they should increase the reward for posting parcels/sacks, as it is more effort than posting letters.

But it’s an open secret that RM is struggling commercially. I suspect Spectos won the contract by undercutting Kantar’s price. I think it’s wishful thinking that Spectos would pay more to post sacks than they costed into their contract price.

I was told I was being rested the middle of June and was posting for 3 weeks after. Last week I sent them a message pointing out this and saying I didn’t get any stamps for June. I had a reply saying that they will send them out in the next 2 weeks. So maybe worth complainingjulest105 said:
I didn't get any stamps for the 3 weeks after I was "rested", just 35 points for posting sacks at my town centre Post Office.silvercar said:
You get the normal points for posting and receiving - no change there. When resting you miss out on your monthly stamps.ChotaPeg said:It's now been a month since the email from Spectos informing me I am back on the active panel and still no sign of anything... Can anyone tell me how long it took from receiving their reactivation email until posting / receiving again please?
From reading others' posts, I am not champing at the bit to get started posting again! I haven't yet wrapped my head around the points / rewards structure with Spectos but can you tell me how you're being rewarded for posting outside your 'active' panel stint @XDA and others? Surely you're not being expected to do that out of the goodness of your heart...?!
Given that posting parcels at post offices is not cost effective for many, the stamps go some way to make up for the lack of a further incentive (Kantar used to reward trips to a PO far better). If you are resting then you are likely to be at a net loss on anything that requires a trip to a PO.
For some the "cost" of trips to the PO is not worth the rewards, and this is particularly highlighted in resting times.1 -
That was the point I was making. While resting you are not getting any stamps, which could be considered as a contribution to the cost/ time of going to the PO.julest105 said:

It really isn't panellist's fault if Spectos under bid and can't deliver a profit on conducting a survey to acceptable standards. If they loose too many experienced panellists as a result, it is down to them.fluffig said:

If they continue to pay peanuts, it won't be long before people start requesting to not post parcels, if they aren't already doing so.
How long will it be before people scan the sacks/ parcels, open them up, wait 2 days and post back the RFIDs? Most people do this for the rewards, not to provide an accurate survey.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. While I agree that 35 points is not much for posting a sack/parcel, let's remember that Spectos do pay for receiving/sending other items and RFIDs - none of which Kantar used to do.HomingPigeon said:I, like others, think they should increase the reward for posting parcels/sacks, as it is more effort than posting letters.3 -
Absolutely. It is swings and roundabouts.gt94sss2 said:
