I guess Spectos will put up with it but I doubt they are fine with it. They obviously chose Friday for a reason. Maybe to test weekend service and delivery.XDA said:
Will do, thanks.silvercar said:
Do this. I had a parcel to post on a Wednesday and one on a Friday. I posted both on the Wednesday. As long as you record the date of posting accurately Spectos will be fine with it.XDA said:
Same as me. Started my resting period and have been sent 3 sacks to post over the next 3 weeks, one being on a Saturday which is a real inconvenience.Saetana said:Great, supposed to be resting and got another mangy sack to post today for next week - that is three sacks in less than a month so not particularly happy. That had better be the last one.
I’m very tempted just to post them all in one go at the post office and they’re out of the way.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein2 -
I agree, there will be a reason for specific days.HonestJohn said:

It’s actually the Saturday posting that’s a nuisance, the week day ones aren’t a problem.
I just don’t think it’s right that they put you on resting and then send out 3 parcels sacks to be posted over the following 3 weeks. When I was on the panel, it was only 1 sack a month!

They quote one sack a month. I had one every 2 months and none with Kantar. I, too, hate Saturday postings. I do letters late on Friday but the sacks have to be at my local PO by10:30 for the 11am collection.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. It's now been a month since the email from Spectos informing me I am back on the active panel and still no sign of anything... Can anyone tell me how long it took from receiving their reactivation email until posting / receiving again please?
From reading others' posts, I am not champing at the bit to get started posting again! I haven't yet wrapped my head around the points / rewards structure with Spectos but can you tell me how you're being rewarded for posting outside your 'active' panel stint @XDA and others? Surely you're not being expected to do that out of the goodness of your heart...?!0 -
You still get points for each bundle received and posted while you’re resting.ChotaPeg said:but can you tell me how you're being rewarded for posting outside your 'active' panel stint @XDA and others? Surely you're not being expected to do that out of the goodness of your heart...?!
Once you’re resting, you won’t receive anything to record and/or post.
It’s just once you’re notified that you’re resting, there is a 2-3 week period following it where you might still receive bundles and have a few to post. After next week, I don’t have anything further to post.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”1 -
What 35 points? My nearest post office is in my town centre. So when I was posting, it's £2 there and £2 back to post a sack. Even worse when "I'm resting". Plus I have ro get up on my day off to post it before collection time. I never had a parcel to post on Saturday with Kantar, this needs a re think!!!XDA said:

But when you sign up to the panel, you know, you might have to be using post offices. It’s not their fault that yours is in such a distance away.
I have had parcels to post on Saturday with Kantar. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

You get the normal points for posting and receiving - no change there. When resting you miss out on your monthly stamps.ChotaPeg said:It's now been a month since the email from Spectos informing me I am back on the active panel and still no sign of anything... Given that posting parcels at post offices is not cost effective for many, the stamps go some way to make up for the lack of a further incentive (Kantar used to reward trips to a PO far better). If you are resting then you are likely to be at a net loss on anything that requires a trip to a PO.
For some the "cost" of trips to the PO is not worth the rewards, and this is particularly highlighted in resting times.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I didn't get any stamps for the 3 weeks after I was "rested", just 35 points for posting sacks at my town centre Post Office.silvercar said:
