I've had no problem scanning the barcodes! It does seem much easier than TNS at the moment......

As I implied earlier it might be phone dependent. I have an old phone as probably a lot of people on here do.

I have the new model iPhone SE with all apps updated.  I can scan the codes for received items but not for sent ones. I’m not so sure it is an old phone issue.
As someone else said, it’s just as easy to type in the code number anyway. I’m wondering when they are going to  get the app properly running an up-to-date with everything on it that there should be.

Same for me - with a 3 year old Android phone which scans every other QR code OK.

I have an iPhone 11 with the latest IOS and latest Spectos app installed and I can’t scan the code when sending bundles but receiving codes work fine.

My first incoming Spectos item arrived today.  It asks me to record the postage value - which is slightly odd as it was an A4 envelope with 2 1st class stamps = £1.90 which could have been a Large 1st = £1.45.

I had exactly the same thing. I chose the other option and there was a box for you to fill in your answer. I just said there was 2 1st class stamps on it.  I did wonder if they were testing us.

The barcode on the bundle didn't scan so I had to enter the code manually but the rest worked - picked up the postbox location and filled in the date and time.

Nothing in the app to tell me whether more bundles are on the way so I'll just see what arrives next.

So you get your phone out at the postbox and play around getting the QR code to scan?  Then you post the item and immediately use your phone again to report it having been posted and provide any other information?

I had something similar. A standard barcoded 1st class stamp on a C5 envelope so I put the price as 95p.

However, the image in the app seemed to suggest that I should have had a mailmark not a stamp.

Like others, scanning bundles when sending doesn't work - though it does for receiving items and posting packs..

Has anyone else noticed on this session, the amount of posting is greatly reduced?
