Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

I thought you had to be close to the post box to be able to pick up the location of it.1

I wondered this too. Only done a couple from home but both less than half a mile away. Kantar were most insistent on being at the box and GPS tracked. They used to threaten you with being removed from the panel. Said they needed over 70% tracked if I recall correctly. Another area where Spectos are not clear.HomingPigeon said:I thought you had to be close to the post box to be able to pick up the location of it.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. I don't think Spectos care about the exact location.HonestJohn said:

When I go to record posting of an item, the app always asks me to 'turn location services on'. I tried that a few times when I first joined, but the app always crashed when I enabled it so I stopped trying to do that. Spectos never complained so I guess they don't need the GPS data like Kantar did.
Also, there were a few time when the collection times on the box were different from what the app said and every time I tried to take and upload a photo, the app crashed. Not sure if it's an issue with the app or my phone. I use the same post box 99% of the time so not tried that for a while (but it took them about a month to update the collection times in the app so struggled with that for a bit when RM changed collection).3 -
Received 300 points for the UA Mail survey yesterday. Also received stamps for July today.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j2

I have a PAYG mobile but I'm fortunate that one of my local boxes is on a shopping park that offers free wifi. I use the shopping park regularly for my groceries and I can always incorporate a posting with a shopping trip.
I've also found that if I have to use my own data, I can turn off most of the notifications before turning my own wifi on and registering the posting at a post box. It only costs me a few pence (7p last time). Prior to that I foolishly used my own data with all the notifications turned on and it cost me 40p. I only did that once. :0)2 -
Same as what I got.HomingPigeon said:I got my July stamps today. No other post, just the stamps with a small covering letter.

I just scan the QR code in the house before I leave and it gives me a list of post boxes to choose, and then choose the closest one which is only 20 yards from my house.MikeyPGT said:Sorry if this has been answered previously ...
Just had my first bundle to post on 18 July. Do I need to scan the QRCode whilst actually in situ at the post box or can I wait until I get back home?

The post box is at the end of my road, I can pick up the location from my front door. I couldn't do that with KantarHomingPigeon said:I thought you had to be close to the post box to be able to pick up the location of it.1 -
I have had a response to the correctly delivered survey. Spectos are saying that I didn't have a 100% response rate. They attach a picture of one line of a spreadsheet, which I don't understand at all. I wonder if they are considering a response of 0 to be a non response? Anyone had similar?
I am tempted to withdraw consent for them to use any of my CD data, if they are not crediting me with the points. #frustrated
I need these points to reach 2500, otherwise I am going to have to wait 6 months to finish my rest period.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Can’t be the 0 as that’s what you’d enter most days?. Could you have missed a day somehow? I notice on the Unaddressed Mail survey they include Sundays.silvercar said:I have had a response to the correctly delivered survey. Spectos are saying that I didn't have a 100% response rate.
