    I'm doing the unaddressed survey.

Reading the instructions at the top of the page, it says to include unaddressed mail delivered by RM and other companies.

Should I be including all the little cards put through the door by local handymen/ gardeners / window cleaners/ charity bags etc?

I don't know if some of them are companies or individuals.
I included flyers & leaflets. Not sure about business cards as I didn’t get any.
I include every piece of advertising that comes through the letter box. Haven't had any cards for ages. I am on the UA at the moment too. I am not getting much that is expected by Spectos.
I include everything - religious tracts, charity collection bags and all.

Today I got my first actual bit of UA that was on the app.  Good to see that they ask about multiple copies as I got two.

Meanwhile - the app tells me I have 12 transponders to send back - is this a record?    (The correct number is 6 - which were posted yesterday afternoon so won't have been processed in yet).
I think that might be a record!

I received another two books today - one I read years ago. The other I might read if it were backlit like my Kindle  :) (actually picked up a book years ago and wondered why I couldn't read it in the dark - so used to using my Kindle).

Number of postings seems to have radically reduced for the next couple of weeks. Not sure if that's me being wound down to rest or whether there's more people in my local area now so the tasks are fewer. Personally I'd rather have more and clock up the points.
I’ve been registered since December. Just been receiving letters & doing surveys.
My first bundles to post have appeared for the last week in May!
It all seems rather random at the moment as to who is asked to do which tasks.
Hopefully, they’ll be letting us know soon about our rest periods as mentioned in the Easter newsletter.

    email received today -

We would like to be emailing you with better news on a Friday, however, that is not the case today.

We are really sorry, but we are still having technical issues uploading your points for the Unaddressed Mail Survey. Our data and technical team are on it, we promise.

We will email you once this issue is resolved. Please accept our apology, and we are thankful for your patience.

Enjoy your weekend and we will be in touch next week with some better news.

The tone of the email was almost like they were about to announce the death of a close family member… Yes, it’s annoying that we haven’t got the points yet but is it really such terrible news that they needed to send an email which was laced with deep regret and it was so urgent that they needed to send it late on Friday evening? I didn’t know what to expect from the first sentence!

How bizarre. A newsletter would have sufficed.

Some of the fonts on the address labels I'm sending out are incredibly small, such that I'd need to magnify them to read them properly.

I have some like this. Can't see the logic in deliberately making things difficult.

I've hand written the address next to the minute print. I'm guessing it was a printing error that no one checked or corrected.

  • It seems Spectos’ logistics still aren’t up to scratch. I’m supposed to post something tomorrow morning but it hasn’t turned up yet and no mention in the app that anything should be arriving with me shortly.
