Just had an unaddressed mail invite starting 17 April although I’m still on the main panel at the moment.

Ditto.  Mind you, last time I said yes to that it never appeared in the app so I'll believe it when it appears.

Sent a Jiffy this morning - which felt more like a DVD case than a book.
Perhaps you sent that to me! Received a DVD in a jiffy this morning…

Parcel box jammed as always, so I ended up having to go into the post office anyway.
    More annoying questions from them.

After telling me to choose a date and then say I wasn’t sure for the week I was on holiday, I’ve now had a message to say are you sure about this date? Erm, I’ve already told you that I’m not.
    Clearly automatic responses.

So did I, (Saturday).   I guess second-hand DVDs are almost as common as second-hand books.   I shall probably watch it and send back.

They are still all appearing with 5x 1st or2nd on them rather than the precise price for the weight.  I presume the overcharge doesn't matter if RM are providing Spectos with stamps but I wonder does it slow down the handling if someone has to check the rates manually?  Or does the scanning equipment recognise the stamps and calculate the total?
I need to think of something new here...

I wonder if they are getting books and DVDs from charity shops? Shops can be quite ruthless in ditching stuff that doesn't sell. Looking forward to some classical, music. I once got a parcel with the 5x1st stamps that had been checked and verified as ok by some scribbled comments. Must have been checked by somebody in RM.

Any DVDs I get will go straight back - don't have anything to watch them on. Much prefer the books - at least they're useful.

I have not covered myself in glory today.

Posted one bundle into a letterbox without taking the wrapper off first.

Then took the bag into the post office and the customer in front of me was completing some paperwork so the chap yelled  over their head “do you want to leave that here?”
He then informed me that last post had already gone and was it time sensitive? And I just thought I’m not taking this anywhere else, so I replied “I’ve just been asked to drop it off here and that’s what I’m doing.” Then he asked me about the manifest and did I need it back,  and I had to say “no idea.”

Then the app asked me about last posting time, which was wrong. But if you say wrong or not sure they ask you for a photo and you can’t continue without one. MHave you ever tried taking a surreptitious photo in those circumstances  - wasn’t going to happen so I ended up having to say it was correct just to submit that I’d sent it.

Next time it’s the parcel box even if I have to use something to shove the blockage down with.

I also got a DVD today - in a jiffy bag - I do have a DVD player but the movie isn't something that would interest me so I will send this one back, might see if I can shove one of the books in there as well, it was a big jiffy bag

Oh dear! Sounds like you’ve had quite the day of it!

On the parcel post boxes, I’ve found that if you return a couple of books to them at the same time and put that on top of the polystyrene parcels, that is usually weighty enough to force the whole lot into the parcel box. Much better look than having people staring at you whilst your arm is half way inside the parcel box!
