She kept saying there hasn’t be a debit and credit it has been credited to your account with us and not removed. Yet the number when calculate from top of bill to bottom add up to me not getting the £66 she wouldn’t have it and said said I’m going and hung up lol took a hour and 20 mins to wait to even get through too 😂EssexHebridean said:So assuming that what you have been told on the phone this morning was correct then, what did they say when you asked why the £66 was shown as credited and then immediately debited again?
too be fair they have been hell since I have been with them. They have messed things up a lot. Hence why they have to keep re doing bills as for some reason they have issues with my account.Lady today just said she has checked system and no money is going to my bank as they aren’t doing it that way, that it’s being credited to accounts with them and that has been done for me on the 1/10 and it’s credited to my balance. So I must be loosing plot as I can’t see it there. I saw it arrive then got debited0 -
That's not what the website says for those paying by monthly DD !dr78 said:As I have told you they have told me they ARE NOT doing refunds to banks. Why would they keep telling me they aren’t if they are. They said their system on how they are doing it is decided this way and everyone I know also on Scottish power also DID NOT have it go into the bank all have had it go onto their account with Scottish power!!! I’m not making it up what I am told lol
even this morning they confirmed once again it’s not going to bank account and it’s gone onto my account for credit . They said the written info online is inncorrect as it is from august before it was finalised what was going to happen and they just haven’t updated it . I don’t think they know themselves it seems if it’s been sent to my account or not as they have told me every time it’s not going to my bank . They said they have credited my Scottish power account on the 1/10 with it and it’s took it off my balance but it’s not and it’s definitely not gone into my account
EDF are doing exactly the same.0 -
As i said they have said it’s what initially was arranged in august but they decided against. As it does state it’s august they wrote it . But haven’t updated. A lot of energy suppliers are doing it via crediting your energy account . Every staff member I have spoke to since sept has said the same thing. I don’t get why every staff member I have spoken to is wrong then, if that’s the case they need to train them into knowing surely as spoke to about 9 since end of sept. Live chat also said the same thing too.0

WHATEVER !
I thing the word REFUND on the bill is a big clue.
Good luck.2 -
Speaking to CS is usually a good way of getting incorrect information. The website is clear how the rebate will be handled and it will take a few days from the button being pushed to the money appearing in your bank.

Honestly sometimes it’s very difficult with Scottish power. Had issues since been with them but at present it’s hard to change isn’t it. I will just hope it works out in the end. But thanks you guys for your help0

I’m sure it will sort itself out in the end lol they said they credited my account with them on the 1/10 and it shows on my balance, I just hope they work it out at a point and send refund to bank or account with them. But thanks for helpmolerat said:Speaking to CS is usually a good way of getting incorrect information.
