You say you did the 'statement' months ago. Do you mean the defence?Marty343 said:This happened in Lidl car park in Crawley. Yes I have been given a date at a local Court. I would rather not say exactly where.I have submitted all of my paperwork Months ago within the format found here on this site. Proforma statement etc.
We aren't talking about the defence.
What about your WS & evidence bundle and costs assessment, as seen in the thread I linked you to?
There isn't a 'proforma' WS on this forum, so I'm worried you might only have filed a defence so far, which (on its own) would get you almost nowhere at a hearing, and without a WS bundle to support it, puts you in breach of the court Directions.
I mean the statement & photos, exhibits etc., that had to be done this week at the latest (probably) unless you are saying your court paperwork gave you an earlier filing deadline for your bundle, and you've already done it?
Has UKCPM's WS bundle arrived?
The standard letter you have there doesn't mean no-one will attend. This is normal. A third party legal rep will almost certainly attend.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you. I have only submitted a statement for my defence. This was months ago. This was a proforma defence statement that was on this site. I have not been advised to submitt any other bundles. I have not received any bundles from the claimant either.0

I did receive a statement from Gladstones stating they disagreed with my defence (obviously) but that was pretty much that. I assumed the court would work with my defence statement and their claimants statement and decide. Also ask a few questions etc0

Look again at your Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.Is there not a paragraph something like:Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].Might be on the back. Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement and evidence.1

Sorry. Excuse my ignorance but all the advice I received on this site and others was that it very rarely goes this far. So I just followed the process set out on this site of submitting FOI requests and submitting my defence on time on the courts required internet site etc. I do appreciate your help. Thank you.0

There will almost certainly be a locally hired legal person representing Gladstones.Marty343 said:Does this mean the representative from Gladstones will be there? And that the car parking company will not - or both?
The car parking company certainly will not be there.
They cannot possibly take the risk of being asked awkward questions.1 -
In that case. I have not received their bundle either. Unless the brief claimants response is this bundle? Hardly a bundle but a few pages.0

I will look through the paperwork in the morning and double check regarding the bundle.Do you know if these cases are often won by the claimant? Clearly you do know what you are talking about! Do you have any advice? I take it the court are not likely to strike it out now?0

There is a nice red heading in the second post of the NEWBIES thread which says:Marty343 said:Sorry.
