Should I be ringing that number above to discuss settlement.
    Pardon?!

This stage is fully covered already in the 12 steps set out in the first post of the 'Template Defence' sticky thread you got your defence from.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apologies I just got confused as to whether this was them offering to settle out of court and drop the case and so wanted to check that it wasn't before ignoring it. Sorry I'll go back and re-read that, just didn't want to make a mistake and miss anything.

I did reach out to them in my case and was fobbed off. All they did was say that they would forward my Email to them onto OPS which was pretty pointless.  They know what goes on and even then OPS had the taste for blood (and cash) and kept on pushing to their costly and laughable defeat in court.  Its worth a go, but be careful what you write as they'll just bump it off to OPS and won't get involved.

Hi @95Rollers and @ParkingMad yes I have just received my court date for Brighton on 24th April.

So I have to now pay court fees by 6th April and prepare evidence to send to the court and OPS by 14 days prior to 24th April yes?

Anything else critical that I need to do now?

    Read it again.
You do not have to pay any court fees.
Only after a hearing is lost does a Defendant need to pay anything.

Ah great yes, 'unless the claimant pays court fee...' sorry and I'm the defendant, not the claimant. Thankyou so much @KeithP
