I am looking for an Oral B electric toothbrush and there are so many to choose from that I am not sure which one to get or where i should buy one from
I dont want one with timers etc etc. Just a good one that does the bizz.

Does anyone have any recommendation as to the model and the best place to get one from?

    Thanks!

Toothsmith our resident dentist prefers the Oral B Triumph (9500) or the Oral B Professional 8500 for a cheaper version. See this thread for the original post

If you get one dont be tempted by the cheap heads on E-bay, they are "Fakes" real heads are £13, yes £13 for 4-Superdrug has them on 2 4 1 offer.
  • When looking/comparing electric brushes the important things to look for are speed of rotation/oscillation and length between recharging.
The brush i like is the Oral B 7000, it holds it;s charge for 14days, has a 2min timer and rotates 8,800 x a min and 40,000 pulsations a min and a pressure sensor.
It has the same movements as the Triumph (just no bells and whistles) but at around £30 it's a great deal

    What she said!!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

    Hi

I am going to purchase the Oral B Toothbrush, I have a lot of Veneers and Crowns so will I be able to use all the gadgets that come with the 8500 or shall I just go for the Oral B 7000 that someone else has recommended me.

    thanks

I have the oral B 8500, I don't use all the different heads though, but the reason I got it was it was half price, and it still is on Amazon for £50

I also use amazon for the toothbrush heads, £12.49 for a pack of 8
