I just spotted this as well. First time I’ve seen that in a while. It is very windy and due to stay windy all night. 15GW from wind expected all night.1

Really glad about that, been running on grid power all day as no solar and battery is empty, can fill it up overnight

Times like this I wish I had an electric heater to warm the house overnight, ready for morning!0

Ok, now bare with me, am I right in thinking that octopus are going to pay me up to 9ppkWh to use electricity through the early hours tomorrow morning?
This may seem like a daft question but I signed up to agile in July purely as the caped rate was 35ppkWh and the sc was 21ppd. Surely the not going to pay me to use electricity?0 -
Or run an inverter off an electric car after charging up in the blue zone...0

@Phlik I'll bear with you, but my hubby might be annoyed if I bare with you

That's how it works. Sometimes you need to pay generators to turn down or turn off - or pay users to use more - that's how you balance the grid.Phlik said:Ok, now bare with me, am I right in thinking that octopus are going to pay me up to 9ppkWh to use electricity through the early hours tomorrow morning?
