  • Mrs Tempest is 67 had her invite a while ago. 2 weeks ago I had an invite (age 64). Both went at the same time all very efficient and they did our flu jabs at the same time.
  • I didn't realise areas were that variable still, my Husband (44) was group 6 and I'm (40) registered as unpaid carer and we've both been invited to book our 4th and going next week. I feel a bit bad that others more vulnerable are still waiting.

We also had our flu jabs at the start of the month which is the earliest we've ever got in

My GP surgery has sent me an invitation to book a combined flu and COVID jab session. I am under 65.

Me too. Though the GP times are inconvenient, so I’ve booked the covid vaccine online at a local pharmacy. They had many many slots available for today (I only booked yesterday), so I don’t feel I’m denying anyone that is older or more vulnerable. I’ll report back if they refuse me or question the grounds that I’m eligible.

My dad is on the housebound list, clinically vulnerable and still waiting.
he’s actually decided to go and get it as he’s been offered a lift.
the service for the housebound in his area (north Bristol) has been pretty appaulling.

some people think the housebound do see many people but they do have close contact with carers, sometimes different people who are themselves making many close contacts.

I was with my 80+ relative for theirs last week
They wouldn't give me mine as I'm not 65 although I know others who've had theirs. Got my appointment through now but it's not till for another 6 weeks so I went online and rescheduled it for a fortnight.

I was actually grilled as to why I thought I was eligible. Even though I'd been sent a GP invitation, the pharmacy was following the NHS guidelines. Luckily I could qualify under one of the NHS categories.

I am in group 6 but well under 65 and not vulnerable and I had it 3 weeks ago. I got an invitation to have it but, when I registered, had to say I was vulnerable rather than just at risk. At my 1st attempt I was rejected.
