I'm with Eon Next, currently on v7 and due to switch to v19 on October 6th. I haven't had an email from them, but when I checked on-line, the monthly payments for October are clearly reduced by c £67 for both the period before (£159 to £92) and the period after October 6th (£359 to about £290).
However v19 is way over the new capped rates so I'll be switching on October 6th.
DM on Twitter means direct message and I got a pretty quick reply (maybe 2 days) from Eon a couple of weeks ago. I guess they are inundated!2 -
Recieved an email from Eon on 21/09 detailing my new tariff rates and associated yearly projection based on last 12 months usage, presumably others will be sent although not in a timeframe that'll suit everybody,granted.1

The discount has been applied to my account but I've had zero communications about the new tariff pricing.
Not that it matters a great deal as I know roughly what it'll be.0 -
Thanks Sparky, not received any communication from them but after loging into my account, just now, it shows the DD has reduced by £67 from 1st Oct. with next payment 5th Oct.That's happened within the last three days since submitting so-called "SMART" meter readings!0

£90.57 + £67 = £157.57 so that matches the recommended amount.Your old £133 gives a rebated DD of £66Reducing to £142 gives a rebated DD of £75 which is close to the £74.82.I think the problem there is that the DD amount has changed at the same time as the £400 rebate being taken into account which has thrown the computer into a muddle. The rush of getting this working has given little time to stress test the programming and a few glitches are to be expected.Note that EonNext are reducing the DD by £67 for each of the 6 months but will only be adding £66 rebate to your account for the first 2 months.

As clear as mud... So is my DD going to be £1 or £108.43 come October 24th... It will probably be the latter, but no details of what my unit charges are after the EPG kicks in, so can't check the calculations.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Yes that’s what I see when I log on. Three different amounts, non of which were the amount in the email.
I suspect where I’ve changed it back to my pre £66 rebate it’s caused it to show multiple upcoming changes to DD values, but the amount that’s debited will be based on that value at the date of my monthly debit.0 -
