    Well done on your win!

ANOTHER UKPC ONE BITES THE DUST!

And...please don't miss the upcoming Public Consultation to change the private parking law and cap the 'greedy money' down at a lower level.

You must take part, you know how horrific this is and have won your case, but how draining and stressful this crap is - and why should consumers have to suffer this relentless bullying claptrap?

  • What stage did you get to ? Your last post before today was DQ stage, did the claim get allocated, did you submit/ exchange witness statements?

I did get a letter from the court, the date set for 20th July 2023

But also it said that the claiment had until 4pm on 22nd june to pay £27 and file a properly completed application for help with fees then the claim will be struck out with effect from 22nd june 2023 without further order unless the court orders otherwise, you will be liable for the cost which the Defendant has incurred.

Also got a letter from ukpc for a offer to sort out the claim instead of court for £50 which i did not even reply to.

    Hope that helps

Did that 'letter' also give you a deadline for filing and serving a Witness Statement and evidence?

Did it perhaps say something like...
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
    Might be on the back.
Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence.

Yep thanks and well done, they bailed early on this one.

Yep i had to send witness statements etc no later then 14 days before the hearing, but it said only on the notice of allocation to the small claims track.

On the notice of trial date it only said the Claimant has until 22nd june 2023 to pay £27 and file a proper completed application for help with fees

On that letter it only states that the above hearing is provisional and is not guaranteed and explains about re listing etc.
