Well done. Please take the time to give all the juicy details of the hearing.
As the thread title says: "I think I've messed up my defense is it too late.??" Obviously not. Thanks to the help you received on this forum.

So they didn't turn up but they did send an email saying they wouldn't. I prepared a lengthy folder and used loads of printer ink 😅 (didn't even open it in the end) walked in and sat down. It wasnt a tiny room it was huge with 6/7 rows like a proper court and he was wearing his gown unlike the video suggested. Anyway I got directed to sit down and he said as you can see they're not here they think their paper evidence is enough and want me to do it in their absence. I'm going to dismiss it. I must have looked confused cause he added "which is what you asked for" 🤣
I mentioned knowing I couldn't submit new evidence but the claimant has tried to say there was no proof I was pregnant so I have brought my daughter's birth certificate because I didn't think I'd be accused of making that up and he rolled his eyes and said he doesn't know why someone would make that up 😅 so then he asked how old she was and how she was doing and said god you've had much more to think about than this parking ticket 🤣🤣🤣
He mentioned the car parks usually being pay and display and he didn't know if the one I was at was. (It wasn't) but he said that's how people enter into contracts by buying the ticket etc. He mentioned trespassing which I did but he said I was too preoccupied to think about entering into a contract. He mentioned them adding on extra charges and it not being fair and he was impressed I'd done my research. Not going to lie after the first thing he said was case dismissed I wrote my notes as booyaa Mofo 🤣🤣🤣 then realised I should start taking notes so what I actually took down was.....
"The parking charge was incurred in an emergency lasting only a few seconds after which she departed and concluding that the defendant cannot reasonably be presumed to, in that short period, committed to a contract with the claimant"

Brilliant! What a nice Judge!
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
And...please don't miss the upcoming Public Consultation to change the private parking law.
You must take part, you know how horrific this is and what your Judge said about the unfair and unjustified 'costs'.

Shame normally law abiding are put through all this nonsense to defend a scam PCN. Let’s hope when the new COP is in place this sort of experience disappears
