    1782 - there's what they think was the actual opening reading. (on 17 May 2021).  Someone has missed the '1' off the end.
    I'm glad we've solved that problem!
    @tanyasima1 if you contact SSE and send them that photo of your Housing Officer's note you should be able to convince them that your opening reading was wrong.
    From your meter readings, it seems you're using around 250kWh a month. That's not a huge amount but it's also not a small one. On the new EPG cap it will cost around £85 a month plus another £15 for standing charge - roughly £100 a month. Fortunately the £400 government grant will make up the difference.

    And you are not paying octopus enough, the extra GOV money may cover the shortfall this winter but in time you will have to pay more.
