Morning all xx
Morning asb 👋 xx
Love to Valli xx Well done YL xx I can't remember all I've read but ❤❤ to you all xx
I'm still fatigued. Dunno if it's a reaction to the vaccine booster or some other malaise, but I've done even less than usual (didn't think that was possible but there you go!). Been to work and that's about it - oh, I did call at PO one evening to pay the rent and get cash so that I can pay the window cleaner. Oh, and while it was quiet at work I went through my Toots List and colour coded all the jobs according to approx time needed. Lots of 15 minute tasks (green *) up to lots of BIG jobs (red *) that need breaking down into however many 15 minute tasks. I got the idea from one of you. YL using different colour pens I think it was.😘 And now the overwhelming number of jobs actually looks more doable. 15 minutes here. 15 minutes there. One elephant tick. One spoon tick. 😊
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, sploshed bleach down the loo, fed the birds, brought down the laundry hamper, set WM swishing, put out the kitchen rubbish, put in a new bin liner. Eaten a slice of toast, and drunk 2 brews. It's a start.
Either the gardening fairy has been in the night or he came yesterday and being totally unobservant I didn't notice that an entire tree has disappeared. Did a double take this morning 🤣
Next Round
Clear post and newspapers from coffee table
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Enjoy your Saturday

Afternoon you lovely lot.
Ah yes Round that would be me, coloured pens make me happy. I have now also discovered stick on tabs so you can mark sections of your notebook for particular things too. I dont need much in life.
Well done on the job ASB, and how annoying about the chimney. We still havent got our kitchen one sorted.
Got my wires crossed, thought I was cycling this morning then realised it is next Saturday, lucky I checked. Went for a little jog instead. Felt the need for fresh air after being cooped up for so long yesterday and managed quite a decent pace for me so pleased with that.
Have hoovered and dusted upstairs, put clean washing away, and had a general tidy around. One load of washing has just finished, it has been raining which was not forecast, so debating whether to hang it out or not. Moving on to the kitchen, utility and my office next when I have had my coffee.
Oh, and hope the afternoon tea goes well Kaz!9 -
How annoying! It rained on my washing when I wasn't looking! It's stopped now so I'm leaving it out to take its chances.

Afternoon all.
Well done, asb - enjoy your new job!xx
Hope you get your window seat next time, Valli xx
I hope it wasn't your tree that disappeared, round! Sounds like a job for a whole ring of fairies rather than just one... xx
Enjoy your afternoon tea, Kaz. Blimmin' moggies! xx
YL, I don't know where you get the energy from xx
I am happy because today I have finally knocked two 9yo frogs off their lily pads. The 2 admin documents that have taken up so much of my time and energy recently have at last been signed, sealed and posted, and will hopefully be delivered early next week. Still got quite a lot to keep me occupied, but those were the biggies, and everything else is relatively simple
We had our Covid boosters yesterday, which might be the reason that I'm feeling really tired now, but I have also been and done the weekly shop, and I can no longer treat large bottles of milk as featherweights.
WMx1 is done and has been hung out in the sunshine; the secondload has just stopped twirling, so I'd better deal with that before I put my feet up for an hour or so. Then Rosie deserves a walk in the daylight.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend xxx

Having been reading lots and determined that I am going to make an effort to post and contribute more.
Would like to send (((hugs))) and "spoons" to all that need them.
Currently, I am burnt out, totally and completely exhausted - bit of a nuisance this getting older lark.
Beautiful day here on the Island, thoroughly enjoying this September sunshine that we have going on.
WM1 almost finished

Bed made and general tidy-up all around
Finances updated

Finally - I’ve done some flying, so I can legitimately post 🤣. HHI x 2, just for the record.
Hugs to Valli, and we will petition for the window seat for next time for you xx
Well done, ASB, on the job, and for doing everything that you do xx
YL - we all love a pen, coloured bits and bobs (coloured paperclips are my secret thing!), and of course a notebook. Or 10, maybe more…xx Oh and well done on the conference and peopling.
Iona, well done on the frog munching xx
Round, well done on the super organised Toots list xx
So today, I have used up so many Braves - sold my car back to the dealer who sold it to me in the first place, then picked up my new car from another dealer, filled it with petrol at a strange (as in never been there before, not anything more sinister), and drove it home from the big town. I suppose that wasn’t so brave, looking at it, but it felt it at the time - and was enough to keep me in the WAC again from 3am. Oh, and sorted out all the relevant insurances, saving myself a few pennies in the process. Much needed as the savings have been raided to actually pay for the new car, which makes me feel sick if I think about it for too long. Anxiety levels are riding high atm.
DD came home for a short notice visit this afternoon, which was lovely. She even let me give her a hug, which was even better. DH is now driving her back to uni, so she doesn’t have to get the train and bus. Brucie Bonus is that she also took some of the meals that I had prepped from the freezer, which makes a small amount of much needed wriggle room in there.
Dinner is prepped for when DH gets back, then it will be a slobby evening in front of the tv. I might even start knitting the second sleeve of my summer cardigan, which will now have to be for next year.
Love and hugs to all xx9 -

Evening all, sorry I’ve been absent. x
Hope you are feeling ok Valli and that you get the window chair next time. x
Round gardening fairies took a tree from outside neighbours house on grass near road and it was only when I found the stump that I realised it had gone.
Quite a brave week here too. Car had to go to garage and they kept finding more problems so I had to have a hire car (new and posh). When I got mine back it felt like I didn’t have any brakes after the sharp new car’s ones. I soon got used to driving it again. The experience has opened my options in choice of my new car which I’m planning to get in the new year.
Ds2 1-1 hours have been reduced by 72% per day. SS are looking for a new home.
I’m joining the exhausted group. I think being flat with the silent L isn’t helping. I need to find some will power.
Flying
cleaned bathroom
ripped up some cardboard boxes for recycling
Hope Honey bear is ok x
Kaz hope the cousins’ tea went well x
Iona well done on your long term frog eating. x10 -
Fayolle all that car stuff sounds terrifying to me, but hope the new car is lovely. I still have a panic thinking about how much we lost on our old one, but we didnt have much option. My anxiety is sky high too atm xx
That's brilliant Kaz I will definitely donate, that link works for me x
I put the oven on and made two lasagnes this afternoon, one meat and one veggie, so plenty for the freezer. We just sat down to eat and the back door banged and DS appeared with an overnight bag and some damp washing. That looks nice Mum. Do you want some love? No, I am meeting some mates for a curry but I will take some for my dinner tomorrow. Oh and can I put this in your drier, then I am off for a shower - he is filling the kettle to the brim and putting it on as he says all this. So I guess my electric use will be up this week, but I can forgive him.
Oh and Iona I had a 20 minute power nap this afternoon! Well done on the admin frogs.
Love to you too Thriftyscott sounds like you arent on your own being a bit tired and run down right now!
Just remembered I said I would sew a button on for DS then PJs and library book I think.10
