Glad the doggie day care went well Kaz.
Not a bad day at the paid stuff but still struggling to get motivated, on my own today too. Cycled in and was tired coming home but glad I did it. Had a chicken dinner tonight, havent done that for ages and really enjoyed it. Cooked the chicken in the slow cooker to cut down on oven use.
Feet up now, DH has just gone to find my book so I dont have to get out from under the heated blanket bless him, I am trying to cut down on screen time so will read a bit and probably get an early night, back in the office tomorrow.
DS has to go for more blood tests and a chest x-ray then they want to start his new treatment. He is going for some kind of world record with the amount of tests and scans he has had this year, but it's good they arent taking any chances. According to the internet the treatment he is going to have costs over £2000 a time, sometimes you do appreciate the NHS!11 -
MorningNaughty doggy
I put dog back in right house at 2.45pm, dog was collected at 3.30pm, I went to feed cats at 5pm, to find, the half packet of food I had left on the side, in dog's bed, packet shredded, food gone!
so I texed the person who has the dog over night to tell them just in case dog hve eaten any of the packet, it seems they didn't notice, as they only collected the dog who was waiting at the door. Cat food will be removed high up in to a cupboard.
Today:-I'm going to take myself to Great Yarmouth, for a wander aroundFeed various cars, (no doggy day care today)Kitchen sort outBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz, the dog was clearly expecting bed *and* breakfast
I was in the WAC from 3.00 until 4.30, but then went back to sleep until 8.15, oops! Now playing catchup.
DGD1+2 are coming to stay the night, so I need to
- clear my desk
- FUPA clean washing
- S&S bathroom, ensuite and downstairs loo
- run the hoover through downstairs and upstairs - Rosie has left a thin coating of fluff all over the dark brown carpet in the study/spare bedroom
- make cakes
- make various phonecalls
- hopefully sign for packet, sign contents, repackage and take to PO
- ring the kennels to book Rosie in provisionally for next weekend (they're already showing amber status for the dates I want)
But first, wake DH and demand breakfast!
Hope everyone has a good day xxx

I'm glad Dot's official. Not happy, IYSWIM, but pleased that if it's on paper it just might cause the authorities to take note and act accordingly.
What's left to do:
- FUPA clean washing
- make more cakes
- make some more phonecalls
- hopefully sign for packet, sign contents, repackage and take to PO - nope, it hasn't arrived
- ring the kennels to book Rosie in provisionally for next weekend (they're already showing amber status for the dates I want) - I really need to phone a friend first, but she's been out all day

Glad Dot is official, now maybe the officals get their act together to help her.Gt Yarmouth, sunny, not such a cold wind as here, full of older folk playing bowls, some sort of match going on, kit bags and alike all over the walk ways!, had a wander around, did daily steps, found a long street that had nothing but touristy type tat shops in it, you name it, it was sold in this street!!Just woken up to the fact my cousins (8 of them) are coming round THIS Saturday for afternoon tea, not next Saturday, I'm on sandwiches, so I'll get stuff for that tomorrow, but I need to crack on, some dusting, hoovering, grass cutting in case we want to sit out side, others cousins are on cakes/ sausage rools / crisps etc so it should all be covered, they will bring their own booze, I have tea / coffee, I will buy milk. The jets are doing a lot of very low flying this afternoon, much lower than normal, very noisy, so I'm going to take my hearing aids out!.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
So, I am going to this conference tomorrow, which means I have to drive 60 miles there and back again and mingle with strangers. Why did I ever decide this was a good idea? I get nervous driving to our nearest big town 10 miles away. I did find myself looking at trains earlier but would have to leave home at 5.30am and wouldnt get home until at least 9pm, which is silly.
Just been messaging DS - who did a 200 mile trip for work yesterday - and he has been telling me its an easy journey.
What else? Busy day at the paid stuff, sheets washed and dried outside. DW just finished, DH might empty it in the morning. Going to read my book and try to relax!8 -
Pigpen hope more support will now be offered.
-one load washing done, yesterday's put away.
- all holiday bag contents put away.
- new computer bought after much attempt to be firm, confident and negotiating by me. Will collect tomorrow. As Mr N and I walked across car park, a lady and her adult daughter asked if we could possibly remove a spider from the dashboard as they were scared of them. Took me a while to find it - would have easily fitted onto a 5p piece even if it stretched its legs!
- went to drum lesson.
- picked up friend to go to lake. 1.2km later and my shoulders ache. Weather definitely getting chillier though nice in sun. Saw the kingfisher.
- various kitchen stuff.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Good morning 😁
I'm sorry I have been awol again this week!
Thank you ladies for the lists as always. Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them - oh, and braves (YL) 😊
Paid stuff has been hard this week. 3 x 2 1/2 year olds (all born in February). One is new, and quite challenging! There is a lot of snatching, screaming and yelling "mine!" and quite frankly it is exhausting!! She is rude - says "yuk!" when I put food in front of her and sticks her tongue out if I ask her to do something 😕 She will be okay when she is used to our routines, but she needs breaking in 🤣🤣 This is on top of one of the others being, I suspect, high functioning asd & screams if something is snatched! 🤦♀️
Today I don't start until 12pm so I am still in bed 😁 I need to get up & get going but thought I would catch up with you lovely people instead.
To do this morning:
Breakfast
Feed NDN cat & clean up the inevitable 💩 next to the litter tray! I may give the floor a mop as they are back tomorrow
Friday money juggle
WM x 2 - possibly bedding & new cot sheets before DD1 & DGS visit tomorrow 😁
Clean bathroom
Make carrot & coriander soup for lunch as I promised the 4 Yr old I would 😋
Have a good day everyone!8 -
