Evening ladies
Lots of hugs to you Valli xx
Piggers - your brood are stunning xx
Day done. I’ve now decided anything not nailed down is being ebayed / Music Magpie’d / FB marketplaced. Made £80 on eBay today and £8 on MM. More identified for listing tomorrow. I simply do
not need this stuff and no one would notice it going. What I need is to be able to buy food, coal, run a car and feed my animals! Lord knows what the new PM will come up with this week but I need cash in my pocket not junk in my cupboards. I have two fruit and veg gardening books to list tomorrow both brand new I’m going for £5 for both to get rid.X1 WM done. Kids enjoyed first day back. See you all tomorrow xx8 -
managed to get some washing line dried.
Please don't worry about me - nothing is bad - they don't believe the results they got are valid (mainly because, reading between the lines, I would have looked/been very ill were they accurate) and I knew I shouldn't have a PICC line as they need care - putting one in and leaving me for 2 weeks wouldn't be a good idea. So that is 3 machines/tests I have outwitted so far. Thank goodness for the NHS. Trouble is every time I outwit one i have to have another! Still - there are compensations - *looks at perky bosoms which can no longer hold a pencil*
Mum came down (twice) and offered to help me - as I said I'm fit as a butcher's dog right now - but when I'm on chemo then i will want her help - and if she's not very good I will make her iron (she hates ironing)
And I have almost finished cleaning my bedroom!

Hugs to all with medical issues.
Gym swim this morning; yippee now swum 5.41km out of my target 15km in 6 days and so far sponsored £445 from lovely people. Must say it's pretty tiring, my excuse for being an even worse flylady than before.
- put dw on
- went to lunch with a friend. Although that isn't flying by any stretch of the definition, I did use a 2 for 1 mains voucher from B££feater so that is at least MSE isn't it?
- checked cc bill and set up payment for next week.
- caught up with emails
- wrestling with the last bit of complex report; how to disprove/disagree with previous assessments without causing trouble.
- checked shopping list, not sure when I'll go though.
No, I can't scrape up any more recollections of flying activities unless checking the garden counts. Lots of thunder and rain last night and today so all sorts of plants are re-emerging; I even saw some new flowers on the runner bean plants I was on the verge of pulling up.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Valli.. I just had this stupid waste of time appointment and the surgery refused to give me different medication because I am on maximum doses which can be prescribed and most of it I have moderate-severe reactions to. According to them I MUST be super tired (I get about 5 hours sleep a night and am fine) and a variety of other things which I am not and MUST feel really ill and I don't, not with anything with resembles a symptom of what they are describing anyway.. I am a medical anomaly too and they hate it. You are just annoying if you don't fit into a text book category. The medication I have just been taken off has been 'fine for everyone else' .. well I'm very sorry I am not 'everyone else'! It does intrigue me why some people have assymptomatic illnesses yet others really suffer and how some people over-react to some medication yet others have a reaction or need much higher doeses despite being exactly the same.. it is so interesting!DW loaded.uniforms and pack ups sorted.emails to both senco's sentemail to guy who is supposed to be coming to fit the sink sentBeasties all in bed and quiet finally.. I am doing some knitting and off to my nest.
Oh.. all the girls coats have been tried on.. everyone needs a new winter coat.. I am heading to V!nted for those.. I am not paying full whack for new coats the speed these are growing at the moment.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Rabbits encouraged into their hutch. Bedroom finished. Recycling out DW and WM primed and, once again, kitchen tidied.
tomorrow I will be mostly looking for a gazebo at work, I have been told by person a that person b took it and was to deliver it to owners; person b has denied this..lDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Been playing the new game of hunt the dead mouse or similar, loads of flies around in kitchen and lounge area, no food left out, all bins emptied and scrubbed (did them on Monday but done again) OH has had a torch out and looked under fridge / freezer / telly / bookcase / sofa nothing to be found, but the files are suggesting there is something around...............................900K done, homeward bound, these boots are made for walking.

OH finally got round to asking about yesterday pointless appointment.. I told him the clown said he should do more.. and I shouldn't bother taking the pain meds.. and whined about me not attending an appointment I never got and snivelled about me cancelling 'the last 3 appointments' .. all 3 I cancelled because they gave me the same appointment three times. I never received any others though. I even checked on my online record and they aren't there.
And today Squeak went back..
OH took the pic.. she looks like she's been shoved through a hedge!
OH cleared and wiped the table.
I have complained because everything hurts and I don't want to exist and I hate school runs and OH is annoying and I don't like people very much.. they are too peopley. I will stay here and hide with all of you.. it's not too peopley in here and you are my people not aliens.

Lovely pictures pigpen.
Managed to hoover both the stairs and the kitchen yesterday. The kitchen has really badly fitted quarry tiles, with troughs between them, so sweeping takes an age. Think I may have to buy a new hoover. I worked out we bought this one before we had children, over forty years ago!!! It's held together with a ratchet strap.
Today have harvested a ton more tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes to put on the gate. Make a couple of pounds. Filled in the form, at last, and spent an hour getting through to the dentist. Appointments now sorted.
Time for a cuppa now, then see what else needs doing. (Lots!!)
Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.

Morning all,
Bad night's sleep here, due to increased meds I expect. This morning I have made the beds, WUDUPA, jiggled some laundry, packed up some ebay parcels and deep cleaned the chickens out again. I have also stewed some fruit for a crumble, picked a load more blackberries and put the dried fruit to soak for a tea loaf. Just enjoying a cuppa now.
Hugs to all xx8 -
