Morning everyone - pretty cold and frosty here on the south coast, but the sun is actually shining for what seems like the first time in days!
I've never posted on the weekly flylady thread before so please bear with me if I'm not actually following the prescribed routine, but I need to focus and this seems a good way of doing it. If I write what I need to do this week for you all to see, I shall be ashamed if I don't get on with it and show progress!
I work full time so things have got a bit dire over the last few weeks. I now have a couple of weeks off and want the place absolutely spick and span for Christmas and for once, I have time to do it. Over the weekend, I decided to sort out the loft and the cupboard under the stairs (had to really, to find the Christmas decs!). So, my car is now full of stuff to take to the dump and there are piles of stuff still sitting around the hall, the living room and the front room. And there's dust everywhere. So here's the list of things I have to do this week:- Take stuff to the dump
- Put recycle stuff that won’t fit in car for dump in nice neighbour’s bin tonight (have already got permission)
- Put non-recycle bag that won’t fit in car for dump in nice neighbour’s her bin tonight (have already got permission)
- Put sorted boxes back up in loft
- Tidy ebaying stuff in front room into a neat pile (do NOT put back in loft)
- Iron clothes and put away
- Hoover living room once stuff has gone to dump
- Wipe hall floor once stuff has gone to dump
- Clean kitchen windows
- Clean living room windows
- Clean bathroom
- Fill bird feeder
- Write Christmas cards
- Buy stamps
- Post Christmas cards.
- Buy Christmas tree
- Decorate Christmas tree
- Take textile recyclable stuff which won’t fit in car to local recycle bin

- Clean under counter kitchen cupboards
- Wash kitchen floor
- Clean oven
- Clean car inside after trip to dump
- Wash car outside (it’s a disgrace!)
- Clean and tidy my bedroom (including hovering under bed)
- Clean and tidy utility area
- Thurs – physiotherapist
- Thurs – dentist
- Decide on Christmas lunch menu
- Write Christmas lunch etc. food shopping list
- Find napkins and Christmas table cloth and make sure they are clean and pressed
- Buy as much of the food shopping list as I can as early as possible
- Buy diary for 2008
- Buy wrapping paper
- Best friend down road’s birthday present (23rd)
- Christmas presents
- Nice neighbour
- DiL’s family
