glad you found out what it was LJD1 hope it gets sorted soon!

i am just home, full of chocolate fountain :D and keen to do a bit more getting straight! gonna phone OH now and then get on later i think. one of the main issues now is stacking the boxes so they don't drive me crazy by getting in my way for the next month!!

tomorrow will require a major charity shop run as the boot is already full and i ahve several more bags. also have one of the lads who used to be in my youth club (now at uni but home for the hols) coming to get stuff out of the loft for me, as i can't reach up there :D would also then like to pack another box of kitchen stuff and another of books, as well as continuing to go through my files etc and sort stuff out. have removals guy coming at 1pm and meeting of of my youth group girls at 2.30 and then a funeral at 4pm (23 year old girl linked to church who died last week of cycstic fybrosis, very sad :( )

anyway, no doubt i'll report again before bed! i have too been thinking of those who don't post at the moment, mumof two (as opposed to mumofjusttwo) hasn't been around for a while either.

I have added a signature. I want to remember the maxim behind that signature and abide by it.

I watched a film (a whole film! Uninterrupted!) on TV tonight - 'The Holiday' starring Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. Whilst it's a nice little lovey dovey chick flick, the theme about old Abbott and the Writer's Guild and the way he got Kate Winslet to rethink her life by watching various movies that he suggested and her eventual reaction and understanding about why they were chosen for her really got to me.

Hence the new signature. We all only have one life. It is not a dress rehearsal. I am the leading lady in mine and you are all the leading ladies in yours too. I plan to make the movie of my life a box office hit!

I haven't done much since the last update (unless you count serving up dinner, washing up, sorting out shopping, putting on another couple of washing machine loads etc. And watching a whole film in its entirety and getting all philosophical about it!) because not long after I posted last, having sat down in the armchair for ten minutes with a cup of tea, when I got up, my back decided it wasn't going to play anymore and threatened to go into spasm. The only thing for it was to take some painkillers and lie down in bed for an hour.

The reason my back is playing up is because I sit and drive a car for an hour to my work place each weekday. I then drive a computer on my desk for around 8 hours each weekday then get in the car and sit and drive for another hour to get home. I am constantly sitting in a position where my right arm is out in front of me - holding the steering wheel or steering the mouse. I really must make an effort to deal with this in 2008.

But, in between lying in bed willing my back to sort itself out and getting all philosophical over a chick flick, I have managed to cross one more thing off the list this evening which was to clean the fish tanks.

Oooh, I've really rambled tonight - I do hope I've not bored you all to tears. If I have, forgive me....

Good evening, not stopping because I should be in bed. Just wanted to share my wohooooooo moment, we've managed to raise over £2300 for charity with tonights event :D:D makes all the headaches and hard work worth it :D:D

Dusty, I did a list the other day, which included Esther (Becca's sister) galantvr4 etc. I hope it's only because they don't need the support of Flylady any more and are too busy doing nice things to post.

    nice one soappie

have got a lot more straight in the last couple of hours.... boxes are now neatly stacked and have packed a couple more in the study as well as a box full of stuff for church and a box of stuff that needs to be returned to it's rightful owners!!!

the problem with packing is that it's easy to get really into it and then not want to go to bed, that's where i'm at at the moment, despite being exhausted :D elec blanket on i think and then s&s kitchen before bed....

Looks like its me and you again rach.

I'm in cleaning mode as I really must get my front room done, the dog has been digging in the big plant pot this week, then she lays in it and transfers all the muck to the sofas!

OH just gone to bed and he said I was mad for wanting to clean now.

I am mad, I've made 60+ shortbread christmas trees tonight complete with choc chip baubles for the kids to take to school as a treat for their class mates.

Once I've got DD to school tomorrow I've up unitl 3pm to myself - ME time :T so I'll probably go back to bed and sleep.

    PS a big well done lil-me :T :T

    No.. it is me too!!!

I've been wrapping presents, writing cards, finding uniforms, making packed lunches and buying a few last minute bits mainly for DS1 who has next to nothing!

Well done Lil_me.. you should be VERY proud!

Best go to bed I guess.. I have to be up in a few hours!!

It is now Mimi's birthday.. she was born at 5:10am.. so she's not quite 7 yet! lol

I can see me running on pain killers and red bull tomorrow at this rate!! I am so wound up about everything I don't think I could sleep if I wanted to anyway.. I may go play with my laundry!! lol

I like todays list.. all the easy bits I have already done!

See you all in the day light!! After these bunnies have finish rearranging their boxes and litter tray and dishes etc.. I had forgotten just how infernally noisy they are lol!!
