Hi, was this ever resolved? @Stuck_1963 I am having a similar situation with Lastminute, still waiting for a refund after an airline cancelled my flight. I have now taken them to the small claims court. They have responded saying the flight ticket was sold by Bravonext, a Swiss company based in Switzerland, so not quite sure whether to  go ahead with the court hearing.
Generally speaking if you bought the ticket on lastminute.com and all your documentation like emails says lastminute.com, a Small Claims Court judge isn't going to take their BS about it being some other company and nothing to do with them.

You can see the court fees here: https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money/court-fees

Those are the maximum you will pay, you won't have to pay their costs even if they win. Obviously you might need time off work and transport to the court etc. So it's up to you, are you willing to risk the court fees or not?

What makes you say that?  If there are a range of indicators that the company is a UK-registered one and a company tried to wriggle out on some sort of technicality then that might be different, but to the best of my knowledge lastminute.com don't pretend to be a UK company and are fairly up front (in the Ts & Cs) about which company and jurisdiction are involved....
