Sent it to data protection at ncp which I assumed was correct.Coupon-mad said:No idea! Only you know who you sent it to.
If they hold no information on the alleged fine, I'm clear as far as I'm concerned.0 -
On the letter from Trace that you showed us, it states that the client is National Car Parks Limited, usually known as NCP. The e-mail address for the DPO is: -Hangryhiggs said:
Did I send the SAR to the wrong company?Coupon-mad said:If you sent the SAR to 'NPC' as you say, no wonder no data is held. The PPC is NCP.

But you told us you sent it to a completely different parking firm, NPC. The heading of this thread also states the wrong company.Hangryhiggs said:

We could all confirm for sure, if you can tell us please (without naming names) who replied to you/what their company email address was.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I see what I did wrong. Put the letter around the wrong way! NCP not NPC.

I've just realised my mistake. Double checked and it's NCP (there is no parking firm called NPC)Coupon-mad said:

Apologies, I got the letters mixed up. I did mean NCP and the email address I've been in correspondence with is the same as the one you've put down. Double checked and they have no details of the vehicle registration at all.Le_Kirk said:

If you are sure that reply came from the right company, and you provided the right VRM and address for them to search for, then email them back with a copy of the Trace letter and insist NCP look harder.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have been contacted of Trace numerous times, they call me when i cant answer and then when i call them back there are huge queues, i finally managed to speak with them today, i was asked to confirm details for DPA i refused to as i have advised them numerous times i didn't want to deal with their company i wanted to deal with UKCPS Ltd. The person on the other end of the phone "Tina" advised that was fine and that she would let the county court know, she was about to put the phone down when i managed to confirm her name. I tried to ask more questions regarding the county court but all she said was "we have tried resolving this but you wont deal with us so i will let the county court know. The effect this company is having on my life is BAD!, they hound me via phone, email and mail. They keep threatening legal action and keep increasing the amount i owe.
What do i do? can anyone help me?0
