Can see why people get nervous with these threatening letters. They all need shutting down.

I particularly detest the pretence that these scumbags are 'here to help you'.
They even lie that 'further solicitors costs' will be added but they've already inflated it to the extortionate (and soon to be banned) top whack £170.
Reality:
No solicitors costs can be added except the capped £50 small claims sum but that's not what the letter is suggesting.
Jeez, if these scum firms didn't increase an already huge three figure PCN to £170, there would be no need for a poxy 'payment plan'.
Sincerely hope the new DLUHC ministers continue to see right through this abuse of consumers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sent a counter email back but not sure what to make of that.0 -
So, who INSTRUCTED TRACE ?Hangryhiggs said:UPDATE:

And by the way, that Trace letter giving you options ..
They missed the main option ....
OPTION 4: We are powerless so you can ignore this letter1 -
Do you mean you submitted a SAR and they sent it back or did you submit a SAR and they claim they have no data for the car or you or the address. One has to ask then, how/why they are chasing you with a PCN - if that is the case?Hangryhiggs said:UPDATE:

I gave them the previous address, new address and car registration. This was their response yesterday.Le_Kirk said:

Trace sent a letter with a picture of the car saying we didn't pay but I have bank statements stating we paid and that is also the only npc car park in that area.

If you sent the SAR to 'NPC' as you say, no wonder no data is held. The PPC is NCP.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
