However the only paperwork I actually have is the County Court Claim - all other paperwork must have gone to my old address.
Is this something I can use in my claim - the fact I haven’t actually had a chance to pay/defend the original parking fines?
You should find the reason for the court claim in the section called Particulars of Claim (POC).  It is your responsibility to make sure that your V5C is up-to-date and it does make a good defence point.
  • Hello all

Ok I got a 'Parking eye' ticket
However it went to my old address, they had no reply from either £50 or increases £100 letters.
So obviously looked up my new address and sent me another letter kindly reverting back to the original £50 charge.
I paid this.. in fact i made boo boo and paid 60 by mistake.
I visited my old address yesterday to help with some painting bla bla bla only to find a newly posted letter with a threat of county court etc..
I have gone on every page, site, called every number but as i am sure you know cant seem to speak to ANYBODY !!

    What do I do ?
Any help will be gratefully received.

    Tiger :))

You do NOT phone a parking firm!

    Email:

    enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk

and complain (unless this is a second PCN?). Ask them:

    a) how many PCNs against you/your car are on their system at either of the 2 addresses?

    b) can they see the £60 payment, which one does it relate to and can they immediately refund your £10 overpayment?

    c) given they traced your new address months ago why the heck are they still writing to the old address?  Tell them to ERASE the old address from all PCNs and if there is a second PCN outstanding to re-issue the PCN to the right address so you may appeal or pay.

PUT THE PCN REF FROM THE LATEST LETTER IN THE SUBJECT LINE xxxxxx/xxxxxx

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

......... and if you need to as further questions ,suggest you start a new thread/discussion of your own; it gets confusing trying to answer two posters in one thread.
