Morning all. Happy belated birthday, round. Pleased your on the mend and able to shower now, Valli. ASB, your kids are welcome anytime, you too. Long way to come though. Hope your feeling better today. How many ewes are you getting?
Have put away the huge boxes of duplo, picked up stacks of drawings and put them in the fire box, found one of the two odd stocks that were missing, and another two odd ones! Little ones washing done and put out. Hoovered. Hugs, mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.10 -

We will get them started sooner next year I think that was part of the problem.
Thank you xx

Well of my 11 'grandchildren' from various extended families:- the youngest starts school, 2 in the middle are off to senior schools, the top one, is 'dropping out of college for a year' and going to Australia for 6 months, 2nd top one is heading into college. I am just amazed at how quickly time is going, and how well they all seem to be doing in life in general.Walking is doneSalad wrap eatenCat 1 warned not to bring his dead mouse into the house!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
I have also finished at the paid stuff until Tuesday 13th. Well, I am going with DS for a scan on the 12th so I will probably take my work laptop because there will be a lot of waiting around to do, but officially its 10 days off. So looking forward to it.
ASB I had a wobble moment yesterday. We have booked to go away for a few days which I might not have done if I had known all about this energy crisis business. The holiday is paid for and I have saved up some spending money so its stupid to fret now, but there you go.
Right, best go and throw some oven chips and fish portions in the oven for tea, DH is on his way home.9 -
Tried the zimmer frame this afternoon and I must have been a bit over-confident because I over-balanced. That didn't do the ankle any good at all, so it's back to bumshuffling. Not a lot of flying done here.Better is good enough.8

Evening ladies
I never got round to making the wood store, but instead I chopped fire wood and faffed about in the kitchen. Then had a walk in Keld, little village near us very small but we enjoyed it.
Mumtoomany I’d be there in a heartbeat if I could! Your home sounds so welcoming and friendly. Probably just 4 ewes to start off with, not sure whether to buy them when they’re in lamb or if I just get some for the experience for the first year, we’ll see how I feel on the day!YL - enjoy your time off work my lovely xx
I am worn out and have more than I care to acknowledge on tomorrow list, so I’ll hit the sack, take care all xx8 -
Smaller boobs = more choice of bras
I also picked up some nice trousers but they’ll have to be exchanged because I grabbed short instead of regular. Applying the one in one out rule, once they are washed I will post the bras to smalls for all so more will be leaving than have come in though I will need to buy more later. I shall, also put a pair of trousers in the charity bag.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all
Sorry I’ve missed posting again, just caught up on all the thread. Belated birthday wishes, congratulations on the shower, good wishes to all! I’ve finished work and now have 2 weeks off, woot woot! Bags are packed and tomorrow we are off so I can fly in the sun! It’s been a while and I am really looking forward to this break.
Hugs to all, I shall leave sticks and spoons aplenty for anyone in need and will catch up with you all again in 2 weeks xx7
