Feargal'd the front room and the edges in the hallway which didn't get done t'other day.. I am going to do the WC and then have a go at the kitchen..

There are bins to empty and I will buzz Mrs Mop around in the WC if I can bear it.. new pain meds may have caused a very distressed painful tummy.. it could be something else but my tum is not happy today and I've not had anything else different.

ooh.. and washing to hang out.. 1 load done.

Lovely to see you Dancemum!

Last night was the first night I've slept through since I broke my ankle so I'm feeling tired but much more peacefully so than I over the past 18 days, and I've also been able to reduce my pain meds a bit.  I'm horrified by how much muscle mass my right leg has lost already and I've got another five weeks two days before this plaster can come off, all being well.  No wonder the surgeon told me to allow a year for my right leg to get back to as near normal as it ever will. 

Two people, one a neighbour and the other a lovely Flylady, have been very kind to me today and it is much appreciated.  I wish I hadn't fallen over and I very much regret that my ankle will never be 100% right again, but in many ways this accident has been amazingly good for me, by reminding me of how kind, generous and thoughtful people are.  I'm far, far too cynical to remember that most of the time, so I'm hoping this ankle will remind me of that daily from here on in.

I have not flown today.  It is our 29th anniversary and this is the first time we haven't been able to go out on a particular local 3.5 mile walk along the South West Coastal Path we've done every single year since we met.  We had carrot cake instead.  Lovely, obviously, but not quite the same.

Am I first up?  Didnt sleep very well, probably something to do with the 2 glasses of wine I had last night.  Dreaming all night.

Spreadsheets updated, coffee next.  DS1 and GF stayed last night but everyone is asleep, it's DSs Sunday off.  I have washing to go out but its drizzling.

Didn't get as far as the field, saw some blackberries in the back "garden", picked one and a half kilos, now in the freezer. It seems to be a very good year for them this year, they are all huge and plentiful.
The eight foot slide had been removed from my front room, surprising how big the room looks now. Today after the DW etc, I'm going to get in the rather neglected tunnel, do some serious watering and weeding. Hugs, xxx PS, my hand full of blackberries, to show the size, I don't have tiny hands, haha.

Yesterdays work didn’t go to plan and I ended up going in.

DD on the other hand did the hutch - and evicted a family of earwigs, which I don’t like so a bonus, mowed the lawn and cleaned her car.  By the time I got back there wasn’t time to clean mine.  Off we went to my sisters for Chinese.  Came back with some for the freezer, which I froze.  Was very thrilled to score 3 hits in beer pong as sporty/aiming games were never my thing.  The aged P (male) drove.  So all in all very moneysaving.

Cor. It's years since I ate bramble and apple pie. Mum used to bake them. And crumble. But she didn't quite have the knack for crumble....it used to stick to the roof of your mouth. Claggy. Ahhh memories 😊

I finally managed to get a lie in. Woke up at 8.30am. So now as well as being all to !!!!!! with what day it is, my internal clock in banjaxed too. It's today and it's brew 2 time. That'll do for now 😊

DS's suit, jackets, trousers,  shirt and university bow tie have finally left chez moi. I went over to their house last night for birthday pizza and onion rings and a film. Enchanted. Had a lovely time. Hoping to be invited again...although I did rather invite myself this time. DS invited me out for a meal and I invited me in for a take away. I got lost driving to their new house. Took the first left instead of the second left. Twice. And ended up in a parallel universe. With DS out in his slippers appearing to guide me in. I was in the next road along. Literally parallel to their road. It didn't help that I couldn't remember their address. I knew it was number 13. But someone had put number 40 of a different road in their space. And parked a grey Corsa outside just to further confuse me. Some total strangers were in danger of acquiring a Granny for tea. Ooo that's an idea. DS and GF don't seem to be in a hurry to procreate- I'll drop in on a wrong house and offer my services. Might get invited round more often than ermmm never. OK once to see the house when they moved in. Shrugs.

I picked up my prescription on my way home. So that's one job less for today. I must wash some clothes today if nothing else. 

Right. Brew 2. Then a Round. It's a plan.

Round if you are that desperate to be a grandma please come be Grandma Bean.. I am sure the girls would love it and uncle DS would fit in perfectly with my nerdy lot.. DD1 makes decent cake (I hate the stuff) and you can continue you TP journey working your way along OH's shelf..

I have folded and put away some clothes.

Last night I condensed many many small bags and boxes of christmas presents in to 5 and a birthday box for Dot.

I am having a cuppa and we are trotting the The R@nge for bird/squirrel food and to Pets a la maison for cat litter.

piggers  - thank you 😊.  What's a Grandma Bean? I Googled it but found a lot of Grandma Brown's beans so that's not it. It's strange to hear that my car, Feargal (Fiesta), is whizzing round your floors all of a sudden. I actually saw the real Feargal in concert in the 80s. So I've made an educated guess as to what make your Feargal is 😊 

Oh and I finished reading Carpe Jugulum yesterday. Please tell DH I think that's the best yet. But I do still have 7 more to go.

What with Carpe Jugulum all day and Enchanted all evening I'm finding Planet RL somewhat colourless today. However I'm now dressed and WM is swishing. And cold pizza for breakfast was different 🍕 nom nom. Waste not want not. 

I seem to have acquired an iona fairy whispering encouragement in my ear. She's telling me that I successfully emptied the ottoman one sock at a time, so it'll work if I do everywhere else one item at a time. She'll be company for the Valli fairy whispering 'don't put it down, put it away' 😊 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️

All encouraging fairies are welcome chez Round.

All cats blankets washed, and line dried, they are back in place, and have been pawed over by 2 of the cats, don't think they are impressed with them being clean!!
