In the past RM has sent a couple of books of stamps for an item that failed to be delivered where I didn't have a CoP.Maybe the evidence of value etc that hubb sent got lost or was disregardedand his claim was treated in the same way?1

I sent them a screenshot of the item's sale price, but there response is I have not proved the item's value. What else do they want ?0

Well the book has been returned to myself with apparently underpaid postage. I will say that when I weighed the book I definitely selected the correct postage online when I purchased so no idea what went wrong.

£4 odd on the label that was stuck on, but the postman didn't ask for it. I think I will stick with Evri in the future. They gave got much more reliable these days.0

Are you sure you got your sizing correct? Large letter postage on small parcel is the usual suspect.
With the increase in mechanisation, more items are identified.1 -
I was on the Evri site the other day browsing and it said 3cm thick was the sizing for large letter .
When it was called Hermes I sent a large letter 3cm thick via Hermes that wouldnt go via the PO as RM requires it exactly 2.5cm thick large letter using the go no go gauge to enforce that size .
The counter staff can be quite pandantic regarding this in regards to force used to put the letter through the gauge .
Some wont push it through..... the LL has to fall through via its own weight etc its a personal staff thing it seems as most letter boxe slots are a greater size than 2.5cm anyway .
Hermes/Evri may alternate or vary this 2.5cm vs 3cm thick sizing requirement though over the years from what I can remember ?
I cant keep up as I stopped using Hermes .
Thing here is at the PO if your large letter is 27-28mm vs the correct 25mm you then have to pay the small parcel sizing and or a fine it seems .0 -
