Excuse me! Speak for yourself! lol, ;) You may have a point though, chocolate & chocolate making does seem to be taking over my life a little bit much these days (but there could be worse things taking control... lol) I'm sure I'll be back to 'normal' (whatever that is!) once Valentines Day & Easter have passed... Can't speak for LouBlue though... :D

Never made anything with choccie before, so virgin here, if you'll excuse the expression. But if it turn out ok, will definitely do stuff for Easter, very MSE.

This tempering malarkey, don't you have to smear it over marble or something, or smear over yourself....sounds like a lot of mess. And I don't have any marble. :D

Well, I'm not what you could call 'experienced' lol, I made a few choccies for my children's friends last year using plastic moulds and the '[STRIKE]boil[/STRIKE] melt in the bag' microwaveable Dairy Milk and this year as you know, I got my chocolate maker for christmas. The advice I've been giving has mainly been from the instructions of my easter kit and chocolate treat maker. We could possibly do with someone with a bit more expertise, especially if we want to do more complicated stuff like 'tempering' - anyone?

PS how are you all storing/hiding
them so they do not melt without your partners discovering them?

    Greedy! :rotfl:

I have 4 silicone ice cube trays with 36 moulds altogether. Haven't bought the choccie yet, is 300g enough for that?

You're the one that said you were a chocolate virgin! My instructions say... 'Leave the chocolate to set in a cool place', I personally used the fridge as I don't trust freezers! :D I then hid my finished efforts (those that I haven't scoffed!) in one of the kids school lunchboxes, nobody will think of looking in there, he he...

Yes she grinch, I'll take you up on the offer for Chocolate soup, its chocolate isn't it?

I wasn't going to answer this because I thought its about time I (we!) let somebody else have a turn at this forum :D ... but nobody took the opportunity so here I am! :D

Not that I know the answer, about how long they take to set because I made my chocs, whacked them in the fridge, came on here for a while (ahem!) and promptly forgot about them. When I came to make myself a cup of tea and went for the milk in the fridge I found them again! And they were ready! Magic! Is that any help at all?...
