If what's happening is a woman of a certain age stuff Piggers, may I suggest sage? It was the only thing that help me when I was blowing hot and cold, so to speak. And I know you're coming from a place of love, there was never any doubt about that in my mind.

Ty HB.. I have some outside.. I may sleep in it.. haha. My skin on my arm feels weird so it may be I am coming down with something but I think it is an age related thing.. I am always freezing and am flipping between freezing and warm several times a day so that is all I can think it could be.filled the freezer for the week.. we didn't have enough money to fill the snack drawer so I be on with making twinks and scones later in the week to feed the locusts.
Pixie wants her friend to come over so I may say she can come during the week but I am not sure about a sleepover while the bedrom and front room are so hideously messy. Our tv is kaput so we now need to replace that.. OH bought it so it of course is uninsured.. *gives him THE STARE'
dinner in.. pizza for 3, pork steaks for 4, turkey drummers for Squeak and prawn linguine for me.. with peas.. I LOVE peas. The upstiars bears got take away.

Evening ladies
Animals and children have had their dinner - just in time for the animals as it’s now pouring with rain. I’m cosy in my new to me chair with my candles lit - it’s not cold enough to light the fire though, alas! It’s been a pottering day and I’ve had a nap.Much love to you HB xx
YL - your blouse sounds divine. I’m sorry you’re going through the mill with DS1. Let’s hope he sees sense soon xx
I hope you all sleep well xx10 -

Get the battery with them!! They are great.. but you absolutely need the battery so energy generated is for your use and free and excess gets sent to the grid but you get paid for that.
and get bird netting on them.. pigeons love snuggling underneath them and fill your gutter with guano and your path with twigs and rubbish.

Evening all,
I’ve been following along but not posting - busy week at paid stuff, and 5 full (full-on) days.Today has been given over to allotment and house flying. Potatoes dug, onions pulled, lots of crops lost due to animals (most likely rats, maybe deer as well, who knows).Upstairs given a thorough clean - lots of webs and their inhabitants have been rehoused, lots of dust has been shifted. Wm has been run and I have discovered 2 new settings. The wm is about 10 years old, and yesterday I learnt how to set the timer - no holds on this old bird!! I have repeated the experience tonight for tomorrow morning.
HB - take it easy, lots of rest and sensible exercise. No silly flyladies here, please, we need you with us.
YL - you know where I am. It’s tough. They don’t always see the light as we see it, and then we have to respect it, but that can be hard as we know. Much love and hugs xx9 -
I am and I will Fayolle, I promise.Kazwookie that is a genius bit of kit. I had no idea they existed. Once this ankle is set and I can get out and about I'd love to be able to use one of them, so thank you for letting me know about them.Belovéd picked up the pot mover when he took Layla to the vet and it works! Layla's teeth need attention but the vet's waiting list is three months. She's very unsettled and I think we've now found all the reasons why, not least of which is my injury. I think we can get her back to being calmer now that we know all the reasons - teeth are only part of it, it's partly emotional and partly her waterworks. We need a bit of calm in this house.

196 rows left n the Dr Who scarf (886 rows in total!) Hoping to have it finished by next weekend when we need to take it to OH 's friend when we visit the inlaws.
Tomorrow OH and I are getting this front room tidied, maybe a furniture shuffle.. and I need to fire off a few requests for people to come get this infernal sink installed... I am so fed up of jiggling about and mopping and the silverfish!
Lots to do tomorrow but I may have OH take dot out.. anywhere.. she is driving me insane and it took us 3 hours to get her into bed tonight and I think she is still awake..
NN all.. mini rolls on the side for the WAC..

Fairly lazy day.
- Went lake swimming. lovely as ever.
- Went to Mr T armed with our list on paper and friend's list in an email on my phone. Pushed round a trolley with a basket in it for her stuff. Really complicated shopping for someone who eats totally different things to us; plus Mr T had reorganised. So in between texting friend to ask what a good substitute for various items were ( I can't eat wheat so vanilla slice, vanilla tart and plain teacakes were unknown territory, particularly as there were no items labelled as such! Ended up sending her a photo of a custard slice....; ditto quick frying steak as we rarely buy it.....rump? sirloin? medallion?) and asking shop assistants where various items had been moved to, it took forever. Still, got everything plus a few half price stationery/school items to put in the Christmas charity shoebox. Friend then made my jaw drop by asking if I'd take a cheque....I haven't seen a cheque for years! I said ok if it's all you have, but she found cash while I unpacked. Then she needed help with her phone and tablet which I was happy to provide, but all in all it was then too late to go out for lunch. Hopefully we can go next week. I do feel for her; she has had limited mobility for years and recently had to let her car go, so she is housebound other than friends. Her married/separated daughter lives in London, works full time and has 2 teenagers so does what she can but it is a limited lifestyle.
-Guess what, filled bird feeders.
- Did a lot more of my tax return.
- Had a long chat with my Mum about my next visit as it's her birthday next month; finally Mr N and I have sorted out calendars.
- have put printer ink in my Amz00 basket, just need to check a couple of other items.
HB happy and careful trolleying......I guess a plant trolley is less hazardous than a skateboard.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11
