@MrSquirrelz crushes CP Plus' and DCB Legal's nutz and rips a discontinuation from them. Eye watering! 🥲

How proud must the SRA and BPA be to have these timewasters as members.

We all have a duty to include this in the forthcoming consultation.

There is a lot to write ..... mine is already done

The claim was ultimately dismissed on keeper liability and backed up on lack of signage in the vicinity of where the vehicle was parked, vehicle was parked in same place on each of the 6 alleged parking events.

Well done ...... a court spanking for them is better than it being discontinued

    Did you get costs

A discontinuation was less likely with so many tickets. Nonetheless a great win for you and your daughter @The_Loner 👏

A win is definitely much, much better than a discontinuance. It means that it has cost the scammers much more than if they'd just discontinued. A court spanking is definitely a real win.

Costs for loss of earnings/leave was included in the WS, but as my Daughter was on sick leave and the Judge was aware of this it was never raised further.

She had found the whole ordeal distressing as this has been going on for over 6 years, PCN,S were nearly stat barred before the claim issued, there was 7 others which will now be stat barred.

Why I expected it to be discontinued was my Daughter was neither the driver or the Keeper of the vehicle at the material times of ticket issue, the vehicle was loaned to someone who had a legitimate reason to park the vehicle in the loading bay for business use.

My Daughter's only admission was she was the Registered keeper.

We even named the driver in the WS and the driver submitted own WS to confirm, proof of the drivers insurance at the time was submitted as an exhibit.

With regard to signage in the area the claimant submitted no evidence of signs, only signs in a different adjacent area, these photos were all unreadable.

All in it was a very poor claim which the Judge saw through.

We never got on to the contract which IMO was flawed.

Just to confirm this was a UKPC Ltd/DCBL claim.

BPA members driving up "standards" again  -  per BPA CoP V8:-

"2.6 By creating the Code the parking industry has set out the
minimum standards by which you will be judged by anyone
coming into professional contact with you. Members of the
public should be able to expect that you will keep to the
law, and act in a professional, reasonable and diligent way.

2.7 All AOS members must make sure that the AOS logo is
prominently displayed in all their car parks, and make it
clear to the public that they are governed by the Code.

That is why DCBL either get spanked in court or they chicken out and discontinue. They are a disgrace.

If this is the sort of legal the public can expect from the SRA ?/?
