Not a discontinuance but an actual Court hearing and a win!

Excel & DBC legal pursuing me for a case of 'double dipping' - Judge ruled in my favour and awarded my costs applied for on the grounds of them being unreasonable.

     B)
Well done please tell us more!
Drove through car park twice but they maintained I stayed the whole time. Told then to check their ANPR records but they still insisted I remained.

DBC didn't even bother sending one of their own staff (just an advocate for hire) and the Judge (quite rightly) basically said, "The Defendant's here to answer questions about his evidence but the Claimant isn't...."

Awarded costs on the argument that it's unreasonable to pursue the case all the way to Court when you had the evidence to corroborate the Defendant's version of events all along

The brilliant legal eagles at DBC actually included an ANPR log in their evidence bundle showing 4 entries (in / out / in /out).

At least that's what it appeared to show but, who knows, as they weren't there to explain! :p
that is so typical of the likes of VCS/Excel Parking

Worth reading the post accompanying this NoD (in the link below) as @Victimofpcn shows real determination that ECP and DCB Legal will not come out this victorious. Well done.  Discontinuance #

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They could do this themselves if they had the guts ..... no doubt they will lose anyway

Back in Facebook land, here's another Euro Car Parks attempt to draw £286 from someone who's only mistake was to use one of their misconfigured machines and get a ticket with only the first letter of their VRM printed on the ticket - this is my bête noire, and I know it happens regularly at the same car park, the Broadway in Bedford.  DCB Legal are processing these in their thousands and then pulling the plug near the end. Pop goes another one.

Yet another ECP and DCB Legal failure, once again, notified to the forum by @Beaudelicious. (It's good to see that Mr Croot is keeping himself immersed as an authorised person conducting litigation. Busy, busy bee!)
