Another Facebook based discontinuance today.
Yet again Euro Car Parks and DCB Legal threw in the towel, sadly we had to submit a Witness Statement early but it had the desired effect. Discontinuance number 540 I believe.

Yet another discontinance from The Facebook.
Euro Car Parks issued this charge because the driver was a couple of minutes late returning to their vehicle and of course were counting the "time on site" instead of the "period of parking". An unsuccessful POPLA appeal led to the issue of a claim nearly 2 years after the parking date.
A hearing was scheduled for late June but documents were required by the end of next week, annoyingly before the hearing fee deadline. This turned out to be irrelevant because DCB Legal folded once again, which I believe is number 543. Can we get to 600 before the third anniversary of this thread's creation? I bet we can.
