Chase UK App problem

  • I'm having problems with mine. They updated the app & now supposedly Ee customers aren't able to access their app. Yesterday customer services said it would be operating OK within the hour. Today its "asap". I asked for someone to guide me through getting access to my account in some other way & help was not forthcoming. Asked for a telephone number of some who could help & they wouldn't give me one or seem to be able to transfer me over. In the meantime if I get invoices in from our builders I cant pay them!

    The issue only appears to occur when using wifi, so if you turn off/disconnect wifi and use data you can complete everything as usual.

    I am on EE mobile customer and have no probs, either with or without WiFi.

    I have Virgin BB and Chase App wouldn`t allow payments his morning. It is now working.

    If you are and turn off wifi and use your data it should be ok.
    I had the same problem. Turned phone off and on again still with WIFI all worked fine.
  • Back to normal service. App compatibility issue sorted by Chase. Nervous couple of days for me! Would say their customer service helpline isn't very good though so hopefully I don't have to deal with them again!

    I ve just been to Sainsburys and Tesco s and my Chase debit card was declined in both terminals. Anyone else having this problem ?
    So far its worked in all outets with no problem except for today

    Did you get a reason for the declines in the app or by SMS?
  • Used mine in Lidl, with zero issues. 

    As last poster said, what does app say for the decline? Usually gives you a clue there.

    I had a payment declined because I did not have enough money in my account. The payment just showed as declined at the checkout, and I can't see any more detail in the app as to why it was declined (I obviously do know why).
