Beware EDF Energy driving you in debt

EDF are not driving anybody into debt.
You don't need a bill to work out usage and balance. Take a frequent meter reading and work it out.
It's easiest if you have excel or something but can be done by hand easily enough.
If you are falling behind and the energy suppliers portal won't allow DD increases simply make a manual payment on account.2 -
I've recently switched to monthly billing with EDF purely for personal preference.
To ensure I have enough funds for the winter, I transfer the amount my DD would be each month minus amount due into a savings account to keep to one side ready for the winter.
