Good Afternoon All
Many Happy Returns Nelski  Enjoy your day and your one or two or ten tipples.
Been busy this morning but havnt actually achieved anything. Went up picked up kids from inlaws then took them to DS football (unfortunatley lost 4.3), only been home a short while and have only just defrosted.
Just had lunch and having a quick surf on here, will then bung washing in the dryer and do the ironing. Washing basket is full again with the kids weekend stuff and footie kit but am not doing any more washing till tomorrow.
May also try and do some paperwork today so can really concentrate on wrapping tomorrow but obviously everything will stop at 3 for the big match.(Come on you blues).
No idea whats for dinner tonight, had lovely takeaway last night and I still have some ribs in the fridge to be reheated so Im alright.
I too love Cranford - its the sort of telly that Sunday nights are made for.
Have a lovely Sunday.

Good Afternoon All
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NELSKI - have a lovely day!
Dlb - Tesco doors open at 9.30am every sunday for browsing, the tills open at 10am. We try & do our shop every sunday at 9.30, quick whizz round and out by the time the store gets busy! OH did the shop this morning!
Im so pleased I put off buying those Cadbury tins of biscuits last week. This week they are BOGOF!
Housework done, dinner on the go! It was going to be a roast chicken dinner, but we're having spag bol instead & chicken tomorrow! Need to use the mincemeat up, which we should have had last night.
I suggested for exOH to meet up and discuss any concerns he may have regarding the kids! He's ignored it. (as I expected). I no he will be laughed at if he does ring the SS, (so Im not worried there) Im more upset that he said this in front of DS.
OH's grandparents gave us all money this Xmas, so we brought a new game to go with the nintendo wii we brought for Xmas. Kids still think we cant get the console, and told them to wait till after Xmas!
Right, Im off to fill in the forms to start 2 courses in January, 1 being a counselling course, and the other, a streetwise, self defence "kick boxing", both free & run for 10 weeks!
Catch you later

Afternoon Everyone
Happy Birthday Nelski
DD is still not well although she has perked up alot since yesterday and is at least playing with some toys. She decided to spend the entire night awake last night so we ended up doing 4 hrly shift like when she was little. I'm guessing that she won't be fit for nursery so I'll have to arrange childcare or take the time off myself.
Not much on today just washing sorting and some tidying. Got a small cottage pie out of the freeezer so will be padding it out well with lots of veggies to make fit for 3.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Hi again
Have taken DS swimming, it was freezing but he is progressing so well with weekly lessons and practice at the weekend it's worth it. OH hasn't seen him swimming for a while and he's really impressed.
Hope you are all having a good Sunday. Have had a can of beer and OH has been to the pub with Stepson we're all feeling a bit squiffy. OH cooking roast chicken and veg. Apple crumble and custard to follow. Have finally written my Christmas cards and will post them tomorrow:j .
Have a good evening, am looking forward to chilling out when DS is in bed:rudolf:

Haven't been as productive today - baking wise - as I was planning.
We have done
Rainbow buns
Yule logs
Shortbread
Fairy cakes
and some chocolate crunch biscuits.
The rainbow buns are lovely.:T
Just about to sort out dinner now - we're having roast pork, and I've also batch cooked sausage casserole and spaghetti bolognese for in the week.
We're going to watch a christmas movie afterwards - one of the free ones from the mail, but not sure what yet.

Afternoon everyone.
Hope your all having a good sunday, iv got plenty done, another 3 loads of washing done, made the tiffin cake and have just covered it in chocolate and hopefully will be set ready for a piece after tea.
Pinpkin your rainbow buns sound lovely have you got a link to the recipie??
This week i plan on baking more macaroons, some coconut drops, lots of cheese straws, pizza swirls and bite sized hob-nobs.
And then will top up baking items on xmas eve when dh takes the kids to the park for a game of footy ,a bit of a family tradition, he goes off and gets muddy whilst me a dd bake goodies and sample my homemade mulled wine!! It works really well because the kids are tierd out and need a bath when they get in and the settle down really quickly.
Tea is cooking at the minute the boys are watching the Chelsea match then after tea we will do the big bath routine then watch a xmas film.
Have alot of cooking to do tommorow for ds1 footy xmas party, im doing all the food nothing huge just a small buffet for 10 kids and their familys, but it will certainly keep me busy!
Have a good night everyone

Late posting today, I have been busy sewing out inserts for Christmas cards, next year I will do them early, like Jan 1st!!!!!
Nothing much going on, supper in the oven, pork chops, roast spuds, leek, brussels and carrots with a glass of white wine I think...............I deserve one.
OH is threatening to come down with man flu, announced this morning he was 'fighting off a head cold'...........he went out for a walk and I have turned the heating down and opened a couple of windows, the insulation/heating in this place so efficient, we still have a summer weight 4.5tog duvet on the bed.
Right I am off for today..........take care, and happy birthday Nels, hope you are having a good one...............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hi
Happy Birthday Nelski!
After collecting a very tired DD1 from her sleepover we went to church this morning and practised our xmas pageant with the sunday school group.
DH has gone over to his mum's to do a few jobs for her and some shopping. I've been busy making hotpot, making xmas choc decorations for the tree with the kids and writing shopping lists for next week. We've just had hot chocolates with marshmallows and squirty cream, yum!
Tonight I'm going to watch The Liverpool Nativity on BBC3 at 8pm. It's being filmed in various locations around the city live, but it's too cold to venture out so we're going to watch it in front of the fire instead.
Have a warm evening!0
