Good Morning.
Happy Birthday Nelski. :bdaycake: it's a Crispy Creme one for you.
Mr Twit has gone off to work, although he did manage to throw a pint of orange squash over his bedside table this morning. It covered his laptop and also drenched his paperwork system (various piles of receipts).
Out with mum and Miss Twit for a x-mas lunch today.
Hugs to Pen-Pin and Pen-Pen.
Tru, I can't put a tune to todays song.

Other than that, we need to pop out for the Mail as they have a free DVD quiz game today. WM is on, but the house is pretty tidy - although the kitchen wont be for long:eek:
Girls are still asleep, which is unusual, but they did go to bed late, as we watched the X-Factor, then a programme on UKTV Food +1 - A Tudor feast at Christmas. It was very good, and everyone involved dressed in the Tudor period. It didn't finish until 12am though. I wish I had recorded it, but will check shortly on their website, to see if it is repeated._party_ Happy birthday, Nelski _party_
Have been thinking about you Penny Pincher. Hope you are feeling better soon. [It kind of puts my health problems into perspective:o ]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELSKI
A very quick post as taking DS swimming in a mo. Have to have a serious clean up today as house is a pit, before OH gets hold of anything. His idea of tidying is throw everything in a cupboard where I discover it later:mad: .
See ya later, have a good day :A xxx0 -

Hello folks
Long time no see - but things are slowly (VERY slowly) getting themselves sorted at Chez TM. I'm sure I'll be back on here in the new year to say hello properly.
Anyway, just wanted to say:bdaycake:Happy Birthday Nelski:bdaycake:
and anyone else celebrating, of course
And if I don't venture into here before Xmas, I want to wish you all a very safe, happy and prosperous Christmas and New Year0 -
Morning Chums ,a chilly one this morning. I have got a large pot of Carrot and coriadnder soup that has been on overnight in the slow cooker to dish up into seperate screw-top jars and freeze this morning .
Then my sis-in-law from Faversham is coming to lunch.
This afternoon I'm off to see my grandson Ben, who is 12 today at my youngest dd's and will stay to dinner there tonight.I will be home in time to watch Cranford though, I do love that programme and shall miss it when it's finished.
Happy Birthday Nelski :rotfl: :bdaycake:  and may all you bottles be LARGE ones mate.
Well all my presents are bought and wrapped ,my cards are all posted or delivered by hand so roll on Christmas .
Am going to do a sort out of my food cupboards and see what I can salvage to spare for our local church charity bin. They accept almost any sort of tinned stuff as it goes to a local womens refuge..There are a lot of women and children who won't be having such a cosy Christmas as I will, so a few tins of stuff may help them.
Although in a refuge, they are in effect without a home of their own, and that is a very sad state for any woman to be in especially if she has children.
I'm not short of tinned stuff so if it makes someone elses Christmas a bit more bearable that's good enough for me .
Well <<<Hugs to those in need >>> and a bigto the rest of you

Morning all
Hubby & I are going to have lunch out today, someone is treating us, so that will be nice.
Next weeks meal plan need a re-jig, as the lodgers eaten some of the stuff I was going to use. I'll have a hunt in the cupboards this afternoon.
She was telling me she missed having veg growing in the garden, she tells me that everyone in Jamaica farms & so doesn't buy much food. I didn't realise that, but it explains a lot.
I went to bed early last night, I couldn't bear her singing anymore, but at least she's gone to church this morning, so we have a couple of hours peace, it also meant I could sneak into her room & get back some of our DVD's we only have abour 25 & all bar 6 were in her room!
The school have gone from trying to get rid of her to offereing her a permenant job, it will mean she gets paid for holidays & the school save £60 a day that they pay the agency. There seems to be a shortage of IT teachers, I assume those that know their stuff work in IT where the money is better.
I hope everyone has a good day
Hugs Hester

Hello Everyone
Been reading the If things get tougher thread, hence my lateness!
Happy Birthday Nelski
Got our Christmas tree yesterday, so will be decorating that later. It's also my sister's birthday so she'll be over with BIL for dinner.
Just struggling to get all my work done as my colleague's off until new year now and has left everything for me near enough. Should be interesting.
Done my archerfish and libertycash clicks along with two dubit surveys and ordered £25 payment from them:T I really need that cash right now as I'm being bled dry at home.
Picked up some good bargains in Mr T yesterday and the health and beauty vouchers are back people! Grab, grab, grab!!! Should get a good amount of vouchers in the new year - mainly because of the stupid price of petrol at the moment. How do they expect us to live like this? Our wages don't go up and yet the cost of living keeps going up, up, up:mad:
Dinner will be roast lamb, which will make a bolognaise or shepherds pie tomorrow night for dinner. Also bought in season veg, but they still seemed pricey.
Hope everyone's ok and managing to keep warmComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Good morning everyone and Happy Birthday Nelski
I don't feel I really know you all well enough to be included in the happy birthdays and personal stuff, but I would feel rude if I didn't say it.
I have woken up with a cold today, so will be doing as little as possible and leaving any work to Mr Cranky. I hope that you all feel better than I do:rotfl: and biggest hugs to anybody that doesn't.0
