BW Legal letter received for G24 Ltd - overstay at Wickes

Hi all, here is the latest.
After receiving a call from the store manager to simply tell me 'sorry, but not our problem, we don't own the car park you must go directly to G4'.
The owner then sent a mail to both BW Legal and G4 as advised, I had no response from BW Legal but G4 as expected requested proof of ID which I sent them.
Alongside that I also found the name and email address of the CEO of Wickes and he was sent a polite email advising of how disappointed the owner was with the lack of care from the store manager and at such a difficult time that we are all going through right now, and how I felt when I received what felt like a threatening letter from BW Legal.
There was then a few mails back and forth from what I would assume is his PA to then a few days ago, the owner received in writing from the CEO an apology regarding the lack of care from the store manager and confirmation that the parking fine had been cancelled.
Thank you all for your help with this, have a great day.10 -
Great success story to start the day, well done on your resilience and proving that Plan A (the complaint to the retailer or landowner) really works.Would you be good enough to give a quick comment with a link to this thread on the 'Successful Complaints about Private Parking Tickets - How to get them Cancelled' thread please?

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

A suggestion - even if only for your peace of mind - after a few days go onto the ppc website as if to pay and check that it is cancelled/nothing to pay. Screenshot for posterity.

...please don't leave us yet! Stick around.
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:

And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens later this year, on e the new Ministers are fully appraised.
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers! You have a personal story to tell about the culture of getting a DRA to add a pointless £70 for their own profit, to be let loose to intimidate people.
